I am wondering where Darlene Cahill is she no longer is doing the sewing machine segment and now it’s been relegated to hsn2. And it’s repeats of the same things. They show the same thing over and over again, the young lady they now have to present the sewing machines as cute as she is she really doesn’t show the samples the way it used to be done. It was a great experience when HSN had their Singer presentation but no longer so sad.
I also miss Darlene. You learned A LOT with her and she made it fun. I wish her nothing but the best!
IF YOU SEW,YOU DON’T GLUE!!!!!!!! BRING BACK THE SEWING PROGRAMS AS YOU DID IN THE PAST.
———-YOU CAN DO IT.——!!!
I know, I miss Darlene so much, did she quit or did they get rid of her?
Welcome to the Home and Craft forum. Yes our beloved Darlene Cahill is no longer here on HSN.
Yes she is sadly missed. Stephanie is the new Sewing demonstrator. She took over when Darlene left.
I too have seen Stephanie demonstrate. Yes she is very cute and really very nice. I saw her on the last craft show and I think she is coming along. No one however can replace Darlene. I did not know that sewing machine segments are relegated to HSN2.
In my humble opinion I think the paper crafts have move ahead of the Sewing crafts. I also think HSN has gotten a younger sewing demonstrator to appeal to the younger group. Stephanie’s age group.
With that said we can still catch some sewing tips:smileyhappy:
I purchased all 5 of my singer sewing machines when Darlene was here. Darlene was excellent. I have her scissors and her dvd and her book. I was also one of Darlene’s stars. I entered a contest she had for sewing a scarf and I won. I got a certificate and the Knit wit for knitting little flowers and squares to make an afghans etc.
I guess we just have to move on to the new. to bad that the sewing segments are now only on HSN2. I check that out once in a blue moon. I mostly stay with HSN it self.
Again welcome to the form stick around. I am so happy to see a fellow sewer make a post.
The community is going to lock the threads tomorrow so it we will only be able to read and not answer or comment once that is done. I think community will be up and running on the 15th of this month.
Remember craft day even is on the 8th of this month. Take a check down the line of this forum and look for my post what I would like to see in the next craft event. Post up your wish list. I have mentioned in that post that I would like to see the Several of the Singer sewing machines.
Hope to see you post again.
