No shipping discounts during financial hardship from HSN
I’m really surprised and disappointed with HSN not having the compassion to help all of us during this financial crisis so many of us are experiencing. This fact speaks volumes with me. I’m reminded that I must reevaluate my support for this company. My money is hard earned as with everyone else and I MUST do better with stretching my dollars during this crisis and beyond. There are many other ways to get what I need in crafting and save Alot in shipping (free)…HSN has spoke loud and clear that they are not going to help any of us during this crisis. Very disappointing 😕

I, too, am not shopping craft day due to high cost of shipping with charge on every item.
-
I TOTALLY AGREE! Only seems to be offered occasionally to card holders. UUgghhh…

Same goes for me!!!!
-
Same!! Use to spend hundreds on craft day, not anymore. I am done with them. Please tell me how an item from CC can cost 19.95 and you charge me 7.50 to ship it?! I don’t pay that when it comes from the other side of the planet! Done with HSN craft day!

I totally agree! I went to Anna Griffin’s website last night and she has free shipping from her website with no minimum order and she had the empress at the same price as hsn’s featured price. I have also shopped directly from crafter’s companion during their sales and they have fantastic sales and it’s a really good shipping rate even though it’s not free if you don’t order over a certain amount. who wants to pay a shiping fee on each item when you buy several items on craft day? Other websites and brick-and-mortar stores will be getting my crafting business

Since the acquisition of QVC, HSN has changed and I do not foresee it as “for the better”. The shipping has increased and the days of “spend X and receive $5 shipping” seem to be gone. I also used to easily spend $100+ on craft days. Today, two Anna Griffin dies would cost and additional $11 in shipping. That’s ridiculous, and I have ordered nothing. In fact, have not watched any of it either. There are a number of online stores to purchase items, inclusive of crafts. It takes a LOT to earn a dollar these days and irresponsible uneccesary spending on shipping is just that — not necessary. Many stores offer discounts or free shipping in excess of total dollars spent. It is extremely disappointing that both QVC and HSN have not stepped up to the plate and realized that customer service is of importance. I’m a long time shopper with them and they are losing me as a customer each day as I seek out other ways to shop that are monetarily smart for my budget. No more craft days for me with shipping cost ridiculousness.

It’s unfortunate the shipping costs have changed. I’m also wondering where the “24 craft day” went. They have paired it down to a couple of shows at midnight, then reruns all night long! No new shows until following morning. I’m so discouraged by these changes. It seems heartless and ill timed based on whats happening in the world right now. I will now start using the web sites of my favorites, and use coupons when I can. I hope all you crafters are staying healthy. God bless.

HSN are hypocrites and have lost me as a customer. All of their talk about much they care, and then showing their ‘customer appreciation’ by discontinuing the $5 craft day shipping and charging ridiculously high shipping charges. There were 10 items minimum that I might have bought that alone came to over $300, then the shipping was going to be $45 when they send them all in one box, plus the almost 10% sales tax. Ridiculous. I buy most of my stuff from England for lower prices and don’t have to pay tax or shipping and often get the orders quicker.

How is possible that we can pay less shipping from England for our craft supplies??? I know what I am doing from this day forward 😌

So disappointed with HSN for this change. Many craft items like stamps and die cuts are small and weigh virtually nothing in terms of shipping costs. I too will be turning to other sites for my addiction. Such a disservice to loyal crafting customers.
-
I wish they would combine shipping in every category. That would be a great help and be good.

I used to buy tons of shoes from HSN but I am not willing to pay $5.50 S&H for each pair. Does anyone remember when HSN used to offer 1/2 price shipping after the first item in an order? I am purchasing much less since QVC (or the parent company) took over and changed the policies. I waited for a free shipping day during these days, but it hasn’t happened!
-
Worst part? Most of the time, with small itemslike stamps or small dies they will use UPS mail innovations and they usually misdeliver or lose your order. So you do without and they don’t care. Only thing they do is refund your order. Nope. I’m done also.

I agree with everyone here. I do not understand how HSN can treat their loyal customers this way and expect us to stay with them. There are other ways to purchase our supplies, as have been pointed out, with free shipping and sales.
Since there is no longer a benefit or incentive to purchase from HSN (no more 5$ shipping) there is no reason to shop there. -
I’m with you all about the shipping fees. Very disappointed. I have an HSN card and it’s used for about 90% crafts. But can’t justify using it to get an extra flex pay while paying full shipping. Every other site I use offers at least free shipping after a certain amount is purchased.
On a kind of related note, this year HSN didn’t send a birthday greeting with a discount for one item. I asked about it and was told they discontinued that practice. I didn’t always use it, but it was a nice PERSONAL acknowledgment for the hefty balance I carry on my HSN card. The good news is that I’ll be paying down that balance without my Craft Day madness. But very bummed that this source for crafting supplies is no longer my go to.

I agree that HSN has really dropped the ball with shipping charges. Not just with crafts, but everything. However, I am finding better places to buy CC, and Anna, etc. They both have good websites. CC has a lot of brands – One of the headings lists the many brands you can buy through them. I just found a cc autoship product on Amazon that costs 19.95 ea. plus tax, plus 3.50 shipping on HSN. I bought all 6 of the auto ships at once for 14.95 ea. plus $5.00 once for shipping; the product is 19.95 on CC and shipping is minimal or free if you buy enough. a 48.00 savings and it just took a few minutes. And this auto ship won’t ship the last item until January 2021, but I have all 6 already! And they have so many more odds and ends that Sara uses during demos. Amazon has a great supply of tools too. No more reason to mess with HSN’s high shipping and return costs anymore. Look around – you can find lots of places to buy things. I don’t think HSN’s craft prices are that good anymore. The only other thing I was still buying here was Andrew Lessman vitamins, but Amazon has them for the same price.
