Happening Again!!! Craft Day Blunder
I am so aggravated. Again, I purchased a craft item, the Crafter’s Companion Glass Cutting Mat, item # 632354 at 08:01p.m. Central Daylight Time. This item was available at time of purchase and was to be delivered on or around the 18th. Received confirmation email at 08:03 p.m. CDT. At 11:37 p.m. CDT I find out through an HSN email I got SHOVED back to the end of the line and now it’s on EXTENDED DELIVERY!!!! It was on Extended Delivery at 08:03 p.m.
If I bought it at a certain time, paid for it, WHOEVER came after me should go on EXTENDED DELIVERY if they purchased after the amount of Mats you had ALLOCATED for this SHOW!!
I buy so much from YOU HSN and Crafter’s Companion, Why do you continue to do this to your loyal customers?? I’m so darn aggravated this will be it. I will go to other companies directly before I purchase anymore from these craft days, unless YOU HSN change your SELECTION PROCESS!! REMEMBER, FIRST COME FIRST SERVE!! How and who gets the determination to get them first and who are the favorites?? Don’t give me the excuse they were bought out before I purchased mine. How many did you have in stock, 10 mats?
Anybody else receive any these emails yet? Good Lord HSN is hitting the skids especially since QVC bought them out. Any thoughts Crafters? When will we take a stand?
HSN, I would like to be made Whole and have the Glass Cutting Mat when you first promised. If not I have no choice but to wait for it because I’ve wanted this for so long. This is so unfair and poor customer service. Sorry for the outburst, but this is ridiculous.
I have never had a situation so dramatic, but I learned something that I did not know when I went to visit AG warehouse. The provider of the product must ship the items from their warehouse to HSN for day of Show. I wonder if CC and the overseas shipping create a problem in having enough product on hand. Just wondering, I buy so much stuff on these days, I probably forget when one doesn’t come on time.
I have had the same thing happen to me from time to time (and yes before the QVC buy). I was truly upset because each time it was something I truly wanted within the time promised. One thing I can add to this is…EVERYTHING is automated now; that is why we can order by phone, online, through an operator or push the remote on your TV. Even at midnight, there are often THOUSANDS of people on line ordering at the same time you are (ever ordered through an operator and before the order is finished she or he says: I am sorry, that is sold out?) Computers do not have the ability to pick and choose which customer will get it and who will not (at least I do not believe they do…yet) If you have ever watched a “JoyM“ new product or very popular regular product you can see this in action. The “bought” numbers on the screen roll so fast you cannot hardly see them! They have millions of customers these days and they do not always anticipate correctly how popular an item will be. (NO I DO NOT WORK FOR EITHER COMPANY!) Just hoping to help take the “personal” out of the problem as it really is random. I’ve been watching both stations since HSN was tooting horns on sales and QVC did not allow presenters to wear colored nail polish. Hope this helps each of you to not feel you are being singled out!!
This happened to me about 4 or 5 years ago, well before QVC came into the picture with HSN. Not with a craft item but they had an angel wrap today’s special. I ordered mine at midnight. At 9 pm, they were still selling the color I’d ordered. I got an email the next day saying they were sorry, they didn’t have enough stock and my order was either delayed or canceled, I can’t remember which it was. I was so frustrated because I’d ordered at midnight, so there is no way it would have been too many people on the phone at once. I ended up buying a couple of wraps at Evine, a place I never shop because I don’t care for their cs but they had a better deal. I ended up loving my wraps from them even more than the ones presented on HSN. I continue to shop HSN but I don’t consider anything mine until it ships.
They desperately need to change this to first come, first serve. That’s all there is to it.
that has happened to me too however there may be 100 people placing orders at the same time so someone has to be bumped down remember how many people watch craft days Just saying
Same here. I ordered my mat as soon as Sara Davies came on, shortly after 10:00 CDT. It was not on extended delivery, however, on Wednesday, I get a recorded phone call saying that “due to overwhelming demand, the glass mat is out of stock and would be delivered on Nov. 6. If it does not become available, your order will be cancelled”. I’d like to know their “selection” process also. The reason I ordered early was to avoid sell-outs. HSN, you’ve got to do better.
That happened to me during the last craft day regarding the winter wonderland crafters companion luxury paper…. was delayed, … then delayed again…. just received it, finally, a couple of days before this craft day….
I also am getting a little fed up… JMHO…
I feel you. It happened to me on the 50 pc AG XMAS CARDS. The email said I should now receive by Nov 12th! I don’t be starting to make Xmas cards that close to Dec! So I just cancelled them. I’d rather they post sold out and if they become available again I’ll decide then. Things do seem to be not running as smoothly like before.
The sentence should read “It WASN’T on Extended DELIVERY @ 08:03 p.m. CDT..
