Frustration with March's Craft Day
After spending time placing my order for many of the Crafter’s Companion and Anna Griffin products during the first hour of the March Craft Day, HSN cancelled my entire order without any notice to me. I didn’t discover this until close to the end of Craft Day when, of course, many of the items were sold out. I spent an hour with customer service on the phone being bounced from one agent to another without any resolution. No one could explain what happened — and no one offered an apology for the error. Luckily, Crafter’s Companion is offered on Hochanda, and their prices are competitive. After being a long-time, loyal HSN customer, I am not inclined to continue.
That is really too bad. I preordered the Crafter’s Companion items I wanted as soon as they came on the site a few days before the 24 hour event. I did it that way to prevent just what happened to you. I also realized there may be a very extended delivery date if I didn’t even though I missed out on the flex pays. It worked. I just received all of the things I ordered in less than a week. That kind of defeats the purpose of craft day though. Crafter’s Companion is having a sale today on their website. If you can’t get something on HSN go to their own site. Their customer service has always been great to me and because I have ordered direct from them before I GOT A CHRISTMAS CARD FROM THEM! It had character depictions of all the people that work there. I felt like their friend or family. Too bad we have to play these little “games” to get what we want to order with HSN. Good luck to you. I hope it all works out. The Vintage Tea Party bundle is fabulous!!
That stinks. I would post this in the customer service forum as well so people can see how they treat their customers.
