I purchased a diamondpress mini die-cut machine about a month ago. Yesterday I was running a small piece and the handle of the diamond press broke. This renders it unusable. Have any of you had this problem? I am really sad because it was a great tool.
I would contact Crafters Companion directly. On the opening page of their website on top of page there is a “need help” click onto that and you can email them, they have great customer service…..😍 (Type in Google search: Diamond Press- Crafters Companion)
Same thing happened to me. I said to myself I am not going to pay return shipping, so got out my gorilla glue and a rubber band…took off the handle, squirted with gorilla glue, wrapped the rubber band tight around the base of the handle and put the handle back on. So far it’s working, but this machine is not made very well…should be all metal in the handle connection and in the handle.. hope it doesn’t snap again, cause I know I won’t be able to get the handle off to reglue it….if it happens again, it will be going in the trash….I will not buy another one because it’s made so cheap….sorry, it is what it is…
Thanks ladies! I will contact them and then try the gorilla glue.
The suction on the bottom of mine broke a month after I got it .
My Diamond Press broke after 1month also. Thanks for the confirmation of a cheap product. I will contact Crafters companion tomorrow.
Definitely contact CC customer service! My friend’s Diamond Press broke, so she contacted them and they offered to either repair it or give her the newest model at less than half the price.
