Check you charges for multiple WW TS orders!
I just got off of the phone with an HSN CS rep (they are usually awesome) and am really surprised at what I learned. I called because I noticed that one of the TS shirts that I purchased did not receive the $5 bonus buy discount. She told me that the bonus buy was only for 1 additional shirt. So that is why I was charged full price for 2 shirts and the discounted price for the other 2. I had watched the airing several times that day and the bonus buy was definitely promoted as buy 1, get $5 off each additional TS. In fact, I ordered the shirts in 3 different orders. The first, the bonus buy came off of the second shirt (2 on one order), the second order was just an additional top (thought my mom would like one) and the bonus buy came off (that is 2 discounted shirts for the 1 full price TS, which is what was said). Then on the fourth order it looked as if it came off (last shirt) but I noticed later that I was charged full price. So I am not sure why the discount was taken on second order (and third shirt) if it was as CS agent just stated. When I called, I thought I was just calling to let them know about the error, but apparently I "misunderstood". I also asked the rep to read the bonus buy language, which she did. It states that if you buy 1 TS you receive $5 off each additional TS purchased. I don’t know what I am missing, but that says to me that each additional shirt ordered (and all to same address, of course) should receive bonus buy discount. But she was adamant that does not mean that. What?!! Anyway, I had $5 added to spendable Kash as "a courtesy". I don’t get irritated easily, but I do not like misleading marketing. Bad form.
So all in all, I really just wanted to give you all a head’s up to check your charges for that day if you ordered more than one TS so you at least know what was actually charged and, you are like me, and "misunderstood" everything the hosts stated that day (at least during the several airings I watched).
The same thing happened with my order on the 2nd shirt. When it was in my shopping cart it showed the discount but when it actually billed I didn’t get the $5.00 discount. I’m not going to worry about getting the price adjusted because I plan on returning it. I just wanted to let you know that you aren’t the only one that had this issue.
You are right! They did NOT specifie that when making the upsell! Gotta be careful MORE then ever!
Hello @carolinalady73, I’m very sorry for the confusion regarding your recent orders. I understand wanting to make sure you’re credited for the promotions. I have reviewed your order and see a total of 4 poplin shirts. The first one was the qualifier, which means its full price, the other 3 shirts should be discounted. I’m happy to confirm that 2 of them did receive the discount. I have issued you a refund for the other. You’ll see the credit of $5 appear on your method of payment within 3 business days.
thank you for posting this. very helpful to me. agree that HSN CS is usually great, and I appreciate that your post was constructive and solutions-based.
