Tony Little Bison T.s.v. is this a good deal ?
I never tried Bison I heard it taste like Beef, is this a good combo for T.SV.?
Seems like a lot of sausages, rather have combo less of that more fajita meat& burgers & not too many hot dogs, sausagaes, seems mostly a lot of Soduim.
Thinking of trying the 40 count what do you think have you tried this Tony Little’s Bison?please let me know a.s.a.p. Thank’s have a great day.
Its not a lot of meat and not nearly as cheap as in the grocery. But this is probably for someone that just wants to treat them self and maybe cant buy it locally.Any fresh/frozen product is going to be expensive due to the way it has to be packaged and shipped.I buy from Omaha Steaks once in awhile and unless I can get free shipping I dont order and even then its still higher per lb than a grocery would be.It has to be shipped to arrive fast and that is expensive and it has to be packaged in a cooler with dry ice which adds even more to the cost of the product..I didn’t add up all the weights of the meats included but a quick look I would guess about 9 to 10 lbs of meat.So I would say dont buy expecting a deal but buy if you want to treat yourself to something different. To me Bison is a lot like Beef but with a stronger meat flavor. It can be used in about any way you would use beef.
where are all the reviews for this?
I have never bought Tony Little products, I do buy bison frequently in my grocery stores and use it in everything that calls for beef and really can’t tell the difference. I personally don’t think his tsv is a good buy as ground bison in the grocery store is much cheaper and I know they keep saying unless you were on auto ship you didn’t get bison last year, it didn’t go up in price in my grocery store and I didn’t have trouble finding it.

The TS is $16.32/lb. for the 80 count, and $18.94/lb. for the 40 count. Seeing it from that perspective might be helpful in making your decision.
This post has been removed to correct my previous calculation. See new post above. I missed some burgers. :womanlol:
Click on ‘More’ under Product description for a list of what is included. I think it says ‘steak strps’ or ‘scraps’?
I believe beef and bison are classified as Bovine. I have some friends who eat it, I don’t. But Bison is mated with cows to get a hybrid. So what is the deal?
It is not a good presentation. I think the tables of burgers and hotdogs have played Out.. Someone should tell Tony that it would have been better if he had a chef or cook come out and cook up some of the meat. … As they show What is included. Tony is a bit too ‘ wild’ to give a presentation. ??
I haven’t bought Tony’s Bison products..but I do buy it in my supermarket from time to time..It’s similar to beef..
I don’t want all the additives in his..like you mentioned too much sodium..
I won’t buy his stuff (no matter what’s he’d hyping)..I can’t watch him and his screaming and jumping around..
I just flip the channel..
