when HSN states ” seclect customers” only, how do you know if you are one? How are you notified? This is all a mystery to me. I have been shopping with HSN for some time now and I have never been a select customer.
You need to watch for: a “coupon code” on top of the HSN main page after you sign in, a paper/flyer notification in an HSN delivery (read them before you toss!), or a coupon code listed in Mr. Rebates or Ebates or whatever else you may subscribe to. There may be other ways I don’t know about. And if someone generously posts a coupon code here and you use it and it’s “invalid,” you’ll know that you have not been selected for that code.
Selected Customers are chosen by the HSN Marketing Team. We do not know the criteria for the selection process, but if u are chosen, YOU will receive the coupon, and it will be linked to YOUR HSN account. If u get an error message upon entering the code and do not understand why your purchase does not qualify, contact Customer Service. HSN is currently revising the coupon system, so hopefully things will be fair in the near future!
U cannot sign up to be a selected customer, but u need to make sure u are signed up for coupons: Go to My Account at the top right of your HSN homepage. Scroll down to Manage Preferences. Check the box for HSN Promotions under Email, and hit the SAVE CHANGES button below. You may receive coupons by postal mail or in your packages, but u can’t sign up for that. Just make sure your mailing address is up to date. Sometimes u will see a coupon on your HSN homepage. Take a screenshot of it if u can, or at least write it down, for it may not be there the next time u sign in.
