Quality Assurance Inspection Stickers on packages
I just got my Jay Manuel TS delivered. On the outside of the box is a round blue sticker that reads "This package has been opened and inspected by HSN Quality Assurance." A few weeks ago, a jewelry delivery came with the same sticker.
Kudos to HSN for the Quality Assurance team! I don’t know if this is a new policy or I was just lucky enough to have 2 of my shipments randomly inspected, but I like it! Hopefully this will reduce the number of customers receiving used or broken items.
Yippee! for HSN implementing Quality Assurance inspection on shipments. There certainly needs to be some strict quality inspection procedures implemented. Packages should be inspected once orders are filled to make sure all items are included, that boxes are not crushed and that the merchandise if first rate. QA members need to check inside the little blue boxes when items are returned to HSN before shipping these items back out to customers too.
I have received packages which were supposed to contain certain items and I received only an empty blue box inside the big brown cardboard box. The pretty little blue box was as empty as a dry well. Another time my pretty little blue box looked like someone had taken it out of the big cardboard box, stomped on it several times and returned it to the cardboard box.
Still the saga goes on, once a specific item I had ordered was on the invoice, but no where to be found in the box. I have received jewelry that I did not order. The item was not listed on my invoice either. I called HSN to report the incident and tell them I was returning the item. It was utter chaos.
I have received broken items. Sometimes it looks as if someone just took aim at the little blue box and hurled the jewelry into it. I have received scratched jewelry that was packaged into a box which was too small.
Most of my shipments arrive in pretty good condition and are acurately filled. Still, I have one suggestion to HSN…. GET BIGGER JEWELRY BOXES. Some of the larger pieces of jewelry are just crammed into the pretty blue boxes. The results are scratched pieces of jewelry that must be returned for an exchange or refund.
Is that what that means? Like I was saying in another post, the first time k received a package with that sticker was the first time I received an item that was defective/broken. 🙁 I’m not sure I like that.
The very first one I received, was the first time that j ever received a broken/defective piece of jewelry. I find that quite odd.
I receive the same thing on a jewelry order, same blue sticker, however, a pair of earrings I ordered (expensive ones) still arrived with the main jewels rolling around inside the box instead of on the earrings where they were supposed to be. They’re actually showing them on air right now. So, I’m not sure how great this "quality assurance" really is.
Dosen’t that mean that the item you have been sent was returned goods and they are letting you know the item was inspected.
Great news, I had to return a mandoline because it arrived broken and useless. Had it been inspected…….
I’ve had several packages arrive through the last several years that have the same sticker. Perhaps they are inspecting more packages now.
If those stickers mean what you are saying that is great, absolutelty wonderful! More QA would be great for all shopping channels, especially for something as sentimental and expensive as fine jewelry.
