HSN Emails SO Annoying
Does anyone else hate HSN emails?
I am signed up in case I am SELECTED for a COUPON. Not like that ever happens, but my family members get them! I will stay subscribed in case I get lucky, but HSN is clogging my inbox w POINTLESS emails DAILY!
NO, they do not entice me to browse the website.
NO, I don’t want to look at the “Deals.”
NO, I don’t want to be thanked for making a purchase.
NO, I don’t want to be reminded of the TS.
Too many emails – the result is I read none of them. Too much garbage. It dilutes the value of receiving the ones that are worth it. Surely at some point, the statistics will show that too much communication is counterproductive.
I did receive a coupon code in one of them in June or July, but mostly, the coupons I see have been the ones that are near the banner. I did incredibly well on a pair of Nicky Butler earrings I had been wanting for a long time. They were on sale and I was able to use a coupon. NOw they are back to full price. Score one for me!
One thing I remember annoyed me with coupons. There was a code that was good one near the banner and the detailed info showed an expiration at the end of the month (a long way off). I had entered it and written it down. The next day, the code wasn’t up there. When I tried to use it on something I am certain was covered, it said the code was invalid or expired. Say what? Strangest thing, it was there again a few days later.
I don’t seem to get that many emails from HSN. Well I guess the ones: “Thanks” and “While you wait” I dont really need.
But the rest do keep me informed.
HSN is nowhere near as bad as Facebook. I deleted my account there because of hundreds of emails a week from them! LOL
YES, I have received another one YET AGAIN!!!!!! For over a month I have been requesting that I be taken off this VERY ANNOYING Email list. I have NEVER signed up to receive any Emails other than a Confirmation of my purchases and that’s just the way I want it.
PLEASE, PLEASE stop inundating me with these useless Emails that I put in my SPAM file. If there’s anything I can do to expedite this please let me know. By the way, I’ve never received any Promotional Emails or coupons.

Worst emails…delete right away unless it is coupon
Just FYI I have asked several times for me to be removed from the While You Wait to no avail. I have also Unsubscribed and gave reasons as PLEASE DO NOT SEND ME ANY MORE EMAILS many, many times and I am convinced they don’t read them. Now I just put them in my Spam File. Getting these obnoxious messages just turns me off.
I signed up to be sent TSV and when certain designers or products are scheduled to appear. I do not get them. Have been trying for over 3 years to get this corrected and it still is not. The only emails I get are re something I purchase. You do not want them and get overkill. Something is definately wrong here. I missed something of Iman’s because by the time I went online and saw she was scheduled for that day the size I needed in the color I wanted was gone.
Have been a great customer since the beginning and I am thinking of quitting HSN.
But if do not elect to get the promotional emails you will never get the coupon emails. It’s a catch 22!
It’s the Thank You emails that lure me in thinking I’m going to be thanked and all I get is While You Wait! What kind of thank you is that?
The new “while you wait” e-mails have got to go. So obnoxious.
And then how many more emails when you buy something? The first is to acknowledge the purchase. The second says they are gettting it ready. Sometimes they send another reminding you they are sending it. Then the one that says it is in the mail. Then comes the one to rate the product. So there are 4 to 5 additional Emails with each purchase on top of your list Kemi!
If they included a coupon for me in the email , I like those . I will use it as fast as I see it.
The fact is I seldom get a coupon .
In July, I won a $25 gift card and did get to use one 20% off coupon , Thanks HSN :heart:
Many other July coupons were posted for select customers that I would get the invalid signal on, I did not call or chat to activate them to my my account ….. because I was not selected to use them.
If HSN does not feel I am a select customer for certain coupons, I selected not to buy while the select could buy all they wanted . It saved me a small fortune :smileylol:.
July is a great month to shop , after July 12th I did not buy anything because I did not get any coupons after that.
I still spent lots here last month (Heidi) .
In August I have place orders galore everyone pays the same for clearance – select or not .
Emails do not bother me.
Some of these emails also contain adware if opened! The “while you wait ” email always contain doubleclick adware. My computer Security Protection Software removes these tracking cookies every time I scan! I have two primary emails, one for retail, one for important emails from my family, bank etc. so I can corral these retail emails after a quick glance!
I don’t know how effective it is, but have you tried clicking “unsubscribe” in the unwanted emails?
