HSN coupon grievance
Why, oh why, are there so many exclusions for every coupon code offered?
I spent the day yesterday trying to use a jewelry coupon code. I had a couple of pieces of jewelry that qualified, but not quite $75, so I added a cute little ring that I didn’t really need…still $1.16 away from qualifying. Grrr!!!!
After searching for more jewelry that I did not really want and finding the bill too much, I finally just said, “Forget it!
Meanwhile, I have tons of other, non-jewelry items in my wish-list that I would have been glad to purchase, but since they couldn’t be included, I did not buy.
Other stores offer coupons without so many exceptions and I shop just to enjoy the savings even if I had no intention of shopping, just because the deal is too good to pass up.
I just don’t get why, if we are spending money here, why it matters what we are buying.
Please enlighten me, HSN!
I am not happy at all with their billing either, I had ordered 2 items both had to be returned for sizing, Received my bill due June 1. I kept checking my acount online to make sure they were credited back to my account. Online account showed them as returned May 20th so I did not pay my bill thinking both of these had been credited, to my surprise, I got this months statement and charged a late fee plus interest because these 2 items actually were not credited back untl June 3rd. So they let these items sit for over 2 weeks so they can charge you interest and late fees !! I called and desputed but got no where with the VERY RUDE gentlman I spoke with. I will never use the HSN card again !!!
I just found a $10 off a $50 or more purchsed for this month. Doesn’t work on clearance and Today’s Specials but I tried it on this blue diamond ring that was on sale for $60 off and it worked! Only problem is that the ring was free shipping and once the coupon went in it added the shipping back so I really only saved $3.79. Wow…really??! Plus what happened to giving us a chance to cancel an order by midnight eastern? Now it doesn’t even take an hour, it’s already processing. Sometimes it takes me a while to make up my mind for sure, and while it’s rare that I cancel anything, it’s great to be able to have that 24 hour window.
