HP LAPTOP TS
No one is answering on the electronics forum regarding if this has Windows 8.1 and what version of AMD processor it has? Can this be upgraded to Windows 10 when it comes out?
408-627 is the item number. What is the model number?
I noticed this too they have specs on the tablets not the computers
Info such as model number should be on the PD…it is a MUST. That way people can just research. I called in to ask a question regarding ports and the reps do not even know….
I forgot to ask if there is Bluetooth on the HP TS Laptop? No mention either way on presentation.
Thank you Ryan.
CarlosSW, this laptop comes with 8GB of RAM.
MKS, CarlosSW is correct about the upgrading of an OS. This laptop comes with Windows 8.1. The processor is a AMD A4-6210. The model number of this laptop is 17-f121ds. Hope this information helps with your decision.
I’ve noticed that they have been showing fewer specs on the computers. One just said quad-core—no name of processor. And sometimes they just say Intel or AMD which says nothing if it doesn’t tell you which Intel or AMD it is. Turns out one was a Celeron. They also are not listing the model # of the computer. You should not have to phone in to get this information.
I’m just sure that they used to have a tab on the shopping pages for the computers that was titled Specifications where more technical information was given. I know I find that info on other online shopping sites.
Questions have already been raised about older or out-dated electronics being sold on TV shopping sites, because it’s easier for a ‘live’ host to accentuate all the things the item can do. They can empty a warehouse of these older goods in a day or less. Without the model # or the specs being mentioned on air OR on the website, people really don’t know what they are getting. They can’t even check out reviews without the model number; or if these are models only being sold on HSN, then we should know that.
Buyer beware if you are not provided with all the info you should have to make a decision. The item being sold may be great, but without the information we really don’t know.
EDIT: Sorry, Carlos. Your post was not there when I started typing mine.
I’ve been doing that a lot this week.:womanembarrassed:
BTW: I’m a little perplexed myself about the lack of info.
Usually there’s a "Specs" tab in the description…but not on this one.
Plus there was no real answer to the how much RAM with this laptop can hold.
Just about ANY PC can be upgraded with a new OS when it is released.
