I just received a call from from the HSN Marketing Division.
They found the Coupon Equality packet I mailed them to be very helpful.
They have decided to make changes and are currently in the process of revamping the coupon system.
I want to say THANK YOU to all of y’all that participated and supported my idea. :heart:
a huge thank you to our fearless leader!!! we appreciate all of your time and effort trying to make hsn an even better place for us. i’m sorry too that things are not going as planned. however, i would like to remain optimistic for the future. usually god works on his own time. so, maybe hsn will execute on our issues once they have a solid resolution for them. it’s always best to see the rainbow through the clouds. also, although coupons issued by hsn seem to be the favored method of reward,(-taking us as examples-) amongst the hsn community, i have noticed that as of late, hsn has been implementing new “rewards” such as free s/h on clearance purchases, free s/h on $75+ jewelry,etc. purchase, $20 off $100 skincare purchase, a day with even more flexpays, etc., etc. AND, i am convinced that these fresh methods of reward have come about because we mobilized and hsn heard our voices. i just hope we continue to get rewarded for our loyalty and vision. we would not have banded together if we did not have the bright future of hsn at heart. and, as i have said, i am confident hsn has heard it. be well and have faith, my friends. it will only get better from here….xoxo oh, sigh…

Marketing will not respond to my multiple voicemails and emails regarding this issue. I am very disappointed after putting a lot of effort into Coupon Equality and receiving a false promise. Nothing has changed, except that your coupons are now listed under your SK.

i did not know that you have to have AN HSN CARD TO USE THE COUPONS THEY SEND TO YOU THAT IS SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO WRONG. THERE IS NO MERIT IN HAVING TO APPLY FOR THEIR CARD WHEN MOST PEOPLE LIKE TO USE THEIR OWN. TO ME THAT POLICY NEEDS TO CHANGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

12.27 – Today I was able to leave a voicemail for Leilah ***, the woman who called me from the Marketing Team at the end of September. I said who I was (the one who she had contacted upon receiving the Coupon Equality documents) and that I was following up on the status of the coupon revisions that were promised. I left my name and number, so I hope to hear back soon so I can fill y’all in.

I contacted customer service last night because I have been trying to use the $5 off coupon they have advertised up at the top of the screen. It won’t let me enter the coupon code at checkout. I did notice that it said select customers could use it. Does anyone know anything about it? And why advertise it at the top of the page for everyone to see if only certain people can use it?

I really DO APPRECIATE that some codes do not restrict the TS (and CLEARANCE, I noticed), as I HAVE BENEFITTED from this. THANK U, HSN.
Hopefully, this is a sign of more changes to come. I will continue to follow up until I get a call back. I understand that this is a very busy time of year, but I am ANXIOUS to see customers have EQUAL SHOPPING OPPORTUNITIES and want HSN to know that I’M NOT KIDDING.

I called HSN’s corporate office again to follow up with the woman from the Marketing Team who phoned me on 9/28 – the one who promised changes regarding HSN’s discriminatory coupon policy.
The operator would not forward me to her line (since she did not give me her last name) but directed me to a Supervisor. This person said that there is no record of anyone ever contacting me!
I explained the situation and was told that there has been one change in the coupon system – some codes are now valid on Today’s Specials. I said that the “selected customer” restriction has not been removed, etc.
My message is supposedly being forwarded to the Marketing Dept. SMH
