Why fight it
Just had a thought from posts about how TV emphasizes how we need to fix ourselves. Lately more expensive products are emerging at pretty much mall prices minus a few dollars here and there. I just hope that they promise too much from the before and after. Honestly, I don’t see any significant changes that warrant spending so much money.
I think there are so many with fabulous results from reasonably priced skin care here at HSN.
If I believed that it was worth 100 dollars for a few ounces of serum I might have to really turn 10 years younger really quickly!
Not implying its a waste to buy what makes you happy or suggesting how anyone spends money but has anyone taken a huge price leap to more expensive skin care and found it worth the price for results they got?
I just know after some beauty shows I notice more lines and my face dropping a bit and I don’t feel that great for a few minutes. But a few days without watching beauty shows I don’t have that negative feeling about aging. I actually don’t think its up to me to fight but just take care of my skin.
If we do get older and lucky enough to be there’s so much more to enjoy. Besides worry lines don’t look as good as laugh lines. Imagine all the time, money effort , potions and tools we use to get rid of the laugh lines we are blessed to have and lived long enough to earn. That’s it!
Well Rabbit thanks for that! It’s too great. I am keeping mine in the refrigerator because I don’t want it to get stale. Remember to use an SPF all the time. I dislike foundations as well and just use a tinted lip balm some days. I have faithfully used Yes to Grapefruit cc cream which is serum like consistency as an SPF and it gives a nice even tone while also being treatment and skin care. Its available most places and almost all natural. Its not too expensive and doesn’t look like anything is on your face at all. Thought I would share….shhhh. Get a feeling that you would love it since we share Marcus. Funny ??. So your not getting Elysee anymore. Hmmm. I think mine is ok and using it till its done. But my next adventure looks like Dr. Graf. I will not order a third line of skin care. That’s wasteful. Have you been thinking of trying anything new?
Venice, I agree with you regarding Perfect Teint. It really works! You are so right that you should only use the smallest amount possible but it does work. I don’t understand the reviews on that product. It doesn’t turn white or leave any residue like all the others I’ve tried and best of all you can use it on top of serums and moisturizer. I don’t wear foundation on a daily basis but I do wear blush, eye makeup and lip everyday. I have tried Elysee products and really like Fountain of Youth Serum mixed with Phenomenal Serum. I haven’t used it in about a year but I would order it again. Everything I’ve tried from Elysee has worked well either with or alternating my M. Asam products.
Yes Snow! That’s my best I ever used. I notice when I don’t. I tried the vinolift and hyluron…bad spelling sorry …and switch to get the benefits if both. Also I got some Elysee collagen cream to try. It was on a special. Kind of tingles. Not sure if its supposed to but it goes away. Seems to dry out quicker than M. ASAM and don’t wake up as moisturized. Who knows what to do? I just feel happy with my M.Asam products and always stock up on the visits. I think the before and afters as well as the Elysee ones are the most impressive. My skin looks happy to me with this product. You can actually see it work right away from application. Your face looks dewy and lines diminished. It’s a feel good product and will never be without my M. Asam. As far as Elysee I would not repurchase but maybe try Dr. Graf. I don’t want my skin to stop loving my favorite skin care and that’s why I will use another one a couple of times a,week. Two is my limit. I will not buy anything else until Elysee is used up and am set for quite a while from Marcus’s last visit. Have you tried perfect teint? I did and its, amazing. I only use it when I have a special occasion. It had bad reviews. Its so concentrated you only need such a tiny bit. I used too much the first try and it was sticky. Just tiny dabs on lines makes them vanish. I love it in the nose to mouth lines. Totally gone! Too bad it goes away after a wash. But with vinolift they are so diminished anyhow I skip perfect teint all together sometimes.
Venice, that’s why I’m going back to using only a few M Asam products that work very, very well…
