Who has used SSC serious beyond
I would like to know who has used the SSC serious beyond serums? not sure if I will order this yet ,hoping someone can tell me more about it and if it breaks you out . Please let me know soon
Hi, SweetClover, I have used SB, and about four hours ago spent quite some time typing up an in-depth and thoughtful response to your question which HSN seems to have since removed for some reason. It was here, now it’s gone. Don’t see how it could have possibly violated any guidelines, but so be it. I’ll try again – if in less detail.
Long story short, these are not traditional serums, but oils. They are not super greasy, more like a dry oil, but if you are expecting a product which will completely soak in, or "set" these will not. However, even with combination skin, if you make sure to exfoliate often – and even more importantly use a deep pore cleanser frequently – break-outs should not pose a problem. I have very break-out prone skin, and following this regimen worked well for me.
I did get a great response from the product. Most noticeably significant wrinkle diminishment and a brighter, more even skintone. I noticed no reduction in pore size. This is a truly impressive product, but even with the awesome results, C Power is still my favorite. I just could not get past the fact that the Beyond never really soaks in/dries. Although it is a much better winter use product than summer.
Again, I apologize that my more extensive post has been removed, but hope this helps!
SweetClover – I have!
I ordered the set on autoship when it debuted back in the summer. The first thing that I wish I had really understood before purchasing is that these are OILS. Do not expect for them to be like a serum, because they are not. Now, don’t get me wrong, they aren’t greasy, more of a dry oil. But an oil, nonetheless. So they do not dry, set, or sink in quickly. It takes a while. And for me, a slight oily layer remains without ever soaking in completely.
That out of the way – they really do make a visible, highly noticeable difference. At least they did for me. Much brighter, more even skintone and a shockingly visible diminishment of wrinkles. Didn’t (sadly) really notice a difference in pore size.
Now, I am not sure about your skin type, but mine is a true combination. In my younger years, I always had *very* oily skin, and now have the dratted large pores because of it. Therefore, they clog. And I am still super break-out prone. I can develop blemishes on skin so dry it flakes! Very dry chin and cheeks, oily nose and forehead. Because of this, the oil factor of the Beyond *seriously* (har, har) scared me. Figured I’d get a hormonal teen flashback, but I really didn’t. I think the key (for me) was vigilant exfoliation/deep cleansing.
Not sure if you have used any of the SSC exfoliation treatments. I have 4 at the moment. The new Luster, the two-step C, the Glocolic Gommage, and the two-step A Skin Detailer. The A is my hand’s down fave. It does a great job of truly evacuating the pores, rather than just scrubbing off the rough. I am also a devoted Clarisonic user. So for me personally – I think the key to success is to keep it clean! One of these treatments at least once a week during the treatment process seems to keep me (fairly) blemish-free. Or at least no worse than it is on a usual day with any other product! *grin*
I hope my rambles can help you in your decision. I have to say, the Serious Beyond *honestly* made the most visible, easily noticeable difference in my skin of any product I’ve ever tried. And believe me, I’ve tried A LOT! The only thing that comes close – and which is still probably my favorite SSC product is the C Power.
Good luck – and if I can answer a specific question about the Beyond, let me know and I’ll try!
SWEETCLOVER –I have not used it but if you post this under HOW DO YOU KEEP YOUR SKIN SO FRESH OR GLOWING—Serious John will possibly answer, most of these questions are being talked about their.
BEST TO YOU-BB
