Which SSC Kit should I get Help please….
I am trying to get an idea of which kit would be most beneficial for my skin. I am 53. Do I need everything? When I watch the presentations I get confused about which one…it seems like everything is THE BEST in the busniness. I am confused on what to use and when. I ordered one of the Beauty Books…the kit was not cohesive at all. Don’t the products work better when they’re in the same line?:smileyfrustrated:
Anyone have suggestions? Peptides….C…Retinol Rulinea….!!!!????
I feel the same way, I’m overwhelmed with too many choices, I read and watch the product demos and get more and more confused. I don’t know why all the lines can’t be combined into one good set, vitamins A, C, Peptides, etc., whatever will do the trick. And I don’t know which to choose so I move on, to another brand.
It’s just too complicated. I thought they’d at least have some type of buyer’s guide with age range and problems on a chart telling us which line would be best?
I tried SSC many years ago when they used to have giant kits. Most of the products got tossed out as the shelf life was too short and they’d shrink or smell bad, change color, etc.
I’d need a shopping assistant to buy something from them.
I ordered the SSC Glycolic Extreme Facial Peel too, I’ll see how that works.
Edna, I’m about your age and if this was my first SSC purchase, I would start with the Glycolic set. Cleanser, serum, and creams. They will give your skin a big boost, you will notice it right away. I’ve used the Retinol A lines, the C line and Creamerum products. They’re all good, but the Glycolic products are pretty amazing. Good luck.
Edna, I started out with the A line, then got the C line. Love them both. I also buy when they have the TS .. you get a lot for the money and can try diff items. I also found out that I need the Continuously Clear line for breakouts caused by new or strong products till I get used to them (including other brands).
Now I rotate the lines on diff days.
Well, from a 50 something (barely still in my 50’s) and a male…I like the A, C and Olive oil products.
I went just a little CRAZY last fall, experimenting with their products. First there was some C (serum, under eye, C with SPF, the C night and C cleaner)…I do like the line a lot. The Olive Oil product feels luxurious. BUT my favorite is the A line…got a set that is serum, under eye, 8 million IU cream and a bonus of 4 million with SPF.
I can’t fully put my finger on why the A is my favorite…I just like the feel and how my skin looks. I set up the A (and some C) on Auto Ship (but I’m trying to draw out my reorder to as close to a year as I can…$$$). I was able to pick up a 2 oz tube of the A Night, when it went on a deep sale…I like it too but am being stingy with it.
I want SSC to make up an A kit (available on Auto Ship) as follows:
8 million IU Cream – 4oz
4 million IU SPF Cream – 4oz
Night Cream A cream – 4oz
A Defiance XR Serum – 2 oz
A Under Eye – 1oz
No purses…no lady bags…
Call me greedy but these larger sizes make me feel like I’m getting my monies worth. I could also use it day and night without running out too quickly.
Back to your initial question…SeriousJohn used to recommend the C products for people our "age" however, either line (C or A) is good. Point is clean, exfoliate and moisturize.
According to the last show SSC had, I should not buy anything but moisturizer! That egg looking thing is supposed to perform lasting miracles….Anyone out there made this purchase? ANYONE? Thanks for any and all feedback. You guys are great!
I love anything from the c line .You can really see a difference in your skins appearance .It makes my skin glow .
It is all junk , no matter what the items are!
Edna and Teresa,
Thank you for your interest in our products. We do have a customer service team at Serious Skincare, available to make individual suggestions for you to help you decide. The phone number is 800 540-8662.
I feel the same way when I watch her shows. I am 57 and need everything as well. But there is so much, where do you start? I have tried a few things and I bought the Glycolic face cleanser, too soon to tell. I like the Vit C serum (I used the old one and it felt good on my face but didn’t see anything miraculous happening) but I would like to try the new ones. These is just so much- Vit A, retinol, Vit C, peptides???!!!!
