Where can you find out if your skincare and makeup is not tested
Ok I was reading on another website that there are a lot of skincare that is tested on animals but where do you find the correct information on this? I was getting ready to try Aveeno new face wash and not I don’t know can anyone who knows what about stuff like this help me so I wont buy the wrong stuff?
I think you will know if something has not been tested – your face will tell you.
Great thread sweetclover.

If so check out Campaign for Safe Cosmetics
SweetClover, this is such an important topic. Thank you for posting.
I just checked out Aveeno (Johnson & Johnson) and according to PETA, they are NOT cruelty free and test on animals.
Thank you ladies for this information! I’ve learned something new and valuable today.:womanhappy:
VelvetRabbit7 is correct about searching online for updated lists, but some products may indeed be cruelty free without PETA’s pink ear bunny or a Leaping Bunny logo. There are various reasons why they might forego adding one of the logos to their packaging. For example, I recently bought Too Faced’s Mascara Melt Off and neither logo is on the packaging. The same with an it Cosmetics foundation. Both companies have a long standing reputation in the beauty industry as cruelty free. Check out PETA and Leaping Bunny’s website for updated lists.
If you are purchasing in a retail store, look on the package for the bunny picture. That’s the symbol for cruelty free, not tested on animals. Also, you can Google animal testing with the product name.
