Hi! I wanted to get your opinions on Trish Mcenvoy’s makeup products. There aren’t many reviews on her products, but I love the way her makeup looks on her and the models. Very natural and pretty! I’m looking for something to brighten my skin to look more youthful. Thanks!
Trish’s BB cream foundations top quality. I use it with a Beauty Blender and it gives a flawless look. Her under eye product is a top seller even at department stores. I use Mally and Trish and have no irritation problems. I’m early 70s with some good "work" done on face! I buy her makeup when it goes on sale, which it just was on HSN
Love her products, her planners, her way of teaching customers how to apply makeup when you visit one of her counters. I convereted to being a Trish Girl in Fall of ’97; she did my makeup during an event and I’ve never looked back. She can do no wrong in my eyes : )
This set was $165 as a TS. It has 6 shadows, blush, Dual Bronzer and Highlighter, Translucent Finishing Powder (blurring powder), Essential Pencil (lipcolor), lip gloss, Instant Eye Lift (triangle of light), Eye Base Essentials (shadow primer), High Volume Mascara, Intense Gel Eye Liner, 4 brushes, 2 planner pages, and the planner (case). That’s 22 pieces which is less than $8 each, so comparable with drugstore prices.
This does give the natural look you want. The shadow and blush colors are so pretty. I love the Instant Eye Lift as much as I love Touche Eclat that I’ve been using well over ten years. The only thing I did not like very much was the Eye Base Essentials. My skin is dry and it just didn’t work for me. I think that it would be perfect for someone who has oily lids. Everything else I have, or will, purchase again.
I wish I had known about this planner sooner. I used to buy most of my makeup at the drugstore, and still do pick up some things once in a while if I find them on sale. And I usually give them to my daughter because they don’t work for me. You would need to try it to see if you like it. I think I’ll get another planner next year if they have a TS. I got mine in April but I think the last one was May or June.
These pics were taken inside and are not good. I’ll take another when I get better lighting. It’s empty above that lip gloss so plenty of room for foundation and a few more products. Case still looks new, no wear. I do wrap it in a small microfiber towel which I use to lay my makeup and brushes on when travelling.
The red trimmed case is not attached so it can be taken out and used in your purse which leaves all that room in that side of the case for product. There’s 3 pages (came with 2) in my planner and it closes easily.
"massha", I have to agree with you fully! Her prices are WAY TOO HIGH! RIDICULOUS! I have used Ready To Wear make-up….foundation, mascara, and lash extensions. Really loved all his products. The foundation HD really is nice. I think Trish McEnvoy is a very pretty woman. She presents herself very classy but; prices for merchandise is really absurd. My best friend purchased her merchandise and stated, " It’s not really worth the high expense for these items." If any of you haven’t used Ready To Wear…..just give it a try!
Any-hoo…….MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL! and HAPPY NEW YEAR 2016!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I love her planners for travel. I take it, and a small makeup bag that fits in my purse. The colors are beautiful and wear all day for me. The one I got was a TS and came with all the essentials except foundation (I haven’t tried her foundation yet), and included brushes. I also added my own brow pencil.
I purchased an extra page to add more blush and shadow colors. The pages are magnetized so you replace product as needed. She has great promotions on her website. I get free lipstick, lip gloss, shadow, eyeliner, blush, bronzer, and tons of other products such as skin care, lotions, masks and serums. She has makeup promos that are full size product. And 20% off on Friends and Family, as well as others.
You can also depot other makeup brands and use it in the pages if it is in a metal pan. My planner is almost three years old and still looks great. I’ll try to get pics tomorrow.
She employs very silly marketing tactics. Before her line launched on HSN, some idjit marketer(s?) used to spam the boards here with fake posts filled with ridiculous marketing-speak. ("For a girl on the go like me!") I simply can’t imagine anything that is pf particular high quality resorting to sleazeball spamming like that.
The prices on her products are completely outrageous. NOTHING can be that much better than other brands. Being how well say, Ready to Wear serves my own makeup purposes I cannot see why I would be spending that much more money. At least nobody managed to explain that sofar.
The idea of a "planner" to me is very impractical. I do not need a planner. I need standalone products that go with other products, in convenient containers that close. Products get finished at a different rate. I do not want to have to replace a super expensive set just because the brown eye shadows got finished.
