Too many returns!!
I have been a customer of HSN for years! I have had to return a few things in the past because of one thing or another. Yesterday, I received my SSC Peptide Trio and when I opened my creme rich, it was weird looking. I put my finger in it and it was nothing but oil and a little consistency of the cream on my finger. I mixed it all up thinking that would help. It did not. I chatted with Jan on HSN and she told me if I thought it was sketchy, to send it back. Well, today it is being sent back. I asked for an exchange and I hope the replacement is better. I did email HSN and told them all of this but I just wanted to know if anyone else has experienced this problem. Have a nice day!
Only 2 days ago I received a 3 piece Robin McGraw beauty product kit. When I opened the plastic shipping envelope, one of the products had leaked considerably. I called Customer Service who placed me on hold to inquire whether I needed to return the package to receive credit. The kit was half price at approximately $29.00 plus another 25% off. Ultimately I was told empty out the products and return the package for credit or exchange. The CS rep was very polite and professional.
So I set about getting it ready to return…the easy label and return slip were ruined. No problem…I printed others…but emptying them out was a real mess! I finally placed it in a zip lock baggie to return it.
While I’m grateful that I will be credited for the product it was a real time consuming inconvenient chore to return it. If only this package had been shipped in a box rather than a too small plastic bag it probably would not have arrived leaking…No exchange please…wouldn’t want to go through this again anytime soon!!!
I’ve had a couple instances with beauty products in the winter. Evidently, they had frozen and then thawed. That definitely compromised the integrity of the product. Once I’d contacted HSN customer service, I was able to get an exchange. My replacement arrived in perfect condition. I’ve no idea how it could have frozen and then thawed, unless, someone along the way was very careless.
Another time, an expensive cream seemed Ok when I opened the jar. However, there was a huge air bubble in the middle. It cut the level of the amount of product in half. Again, I contacted HSN customer service. There was no problem getting an exchange. The exchange was perfect…no air bubbles!
It sounds like your products might have been in the heat too long, riding in the UPS truck. I have had things come melted in the summer & frozen in the winter (from qvc).
Last thing that came frozen was an entire $85.oo Josie Maran argan oil kit. The Q said it would be fine.. just let it thaw out. With SH & tax the kit was around $97.oo. The Q’s CS lady told me that the warehouse freezes the JM products & sends them out frozen. Seriously… (epic fail CS lady).
HSN CS, hands down, tries to make their customers happy
& make you feel like you matter to them. They have really stepped up their game in the last 10 years, where the Q is steadly going downhill.
