SSC brush with the todays special – how to clean it
May have missed it but is there a booklet that comes with the brush that describes how to clean it and when the brush head needs to be replaced?
I can’t get over how wonderful everybody is here and how helpful you are. Believe me, I’m in need for it so thank you all for the info. I’m going to go buy one of those brush heads now before they’re gone. Thank you all.
I am an RN and have had some experience with both derm docs and plastics along with their staff. They always told their patients, whom did not want to buy a special brush cleanser…(as in their opinion are a waste of $. They told them to dab them daily to get out any surface product or dirt; on a clean dry cloth. I’ve always used just paper towel. Then to clean the brushes, a tiny bit of a gentle shampoo and rinse well fluffing the brushes with your clean fingers, followed by a spritz of witch hazel to finish. Then air dry. Store in a closed container. Not in a cup, open brush container, etc.. How often depends on use. If you use a brush daily, every week or ten days. If only occasional spread out the frequency.
hope that helps!
I want to thank you for the recommendations…for some reason I cannot message back in the particular topic you answered my question in…I am new to the community and not familiar with how this all works.
I went ahead and ordered the glycolic (took a chance – I had not seen your post yet) It made me feel so much better when I did! I will also look into the other product you mentioned – clearzit.
I have one last question if you happen to see this…if I get the glycolic cleanser and all goes well – then am I to stick with that particular product line (ex order the presoaked pads, moisturizers, etc – just stick with that line for now)?
I know I have read some who go between the lines, but I am new to this line. I am not sure how all of that works. I am curious if I should stick with all glycolic line for now and see how it goes, or eventually cross lines?
I am guessing stick with all glycolic for now – try the cleanser first, then add in a product every so often, and also add in the clearzit?
Thank you very much for the assistance – I truly appreciate your help! It made me feel a lot better reading your product recommendation!
why was there not enough of the olive cleanser, I got all the others and I wanted that
I like to use a gentle shampoo or some of the cleanser that I was just using to clean the brush….
The brush head easily last 3 – 6 months… depends on use… to extend life, I would start to cleanse off make up with fingertips, dislodge it then rinse.. .then cleanse the face with the Plush.
Where can I find information on which line of the serious skin care will be right for my particular skin. I know glycolic is universal, but if I want a more targeted line, where can I ask some questions and get some answers…thank you very much!
I need a cream for puffy eyes…..my eyes are also creypey……help…how do I get
Jennifer or Cici to answer
After each use, rinse the brush head under warm running water to remove residue from cleansing. Shake dry. This will prolong the life of the microfine bristles. Changing the brush head every 6 months is recommended. HSN carries the replacements. They are $14.50 each.
mmmmm6, yes a user guide is included for the facial brush.
