The reviews always help me if I see an age in the review. I am 68 and some very positive reviews may be from much younger women. What do you think?
It would be nice seeing the ages but for some reason I just hate posting mine. Hangup on age going on over here but I’m getting better. I love knowing if more mature women are buying certain styles or if its only appropriate for the younger viewers. I also like seeing the height and weight and size of the models. Let’s face it, skinny looks good in everything.
Pamlou: Come on over. We have 2 KK stores within 20 min of my home. Sometimes I make a run when I know the “Hot Now” sign will be on. Oh Goodness, I can scarf down 3 in no time when they are hot. Often the KK group offers “buy 1 doz. get 1 doz free”. When these two events occur, there is no question as to who is in control…….my wicked wicked sweet tooth…..(bless it’s little heart!)
Next time I visit one of the KKs, I will consume at least two in your honor. It will be my pleasure to pay tribute to you via KKs. :womanlol: I love the raspberry filled. lemon filled and of course the all time best of the best, the original glazed. Which selection shall I honor you with? It does not have to be from the three I listed. Of course, if you can’t decide,….well I’ll just have to keep on eating the KKs until I find one that represents you!:womanlol:
Fantastic idea . I think this explains the huge difference in reviews because aging skin is going to react differently than youthful skin. We are going to see a more visible difference in our wrinkles but if someone has no wrinkles they are going to think the product is blah . I normally do say that I have senior your skin. #Candron you made a really valid point here. I think most of the beauty products are aimed at aging skin with the exception of moisturizers and general make up . my mother taught me in my 20s to always remove my make up at night and use a moisturizer. Today we have so many more options. I am looking forward to trying the Glo pro and see if it is all they say it is!
Excellent idea. I sometimes put my age in a post or review. What looks great on a 23 yr old size 0 will definitely not look the same on me. I hope people will start placing useful info in reviews. I try to include the size of my wrist, my ring size etc in the hopes that this will help others gauge how the item might work on them. Age is nothing to be ashamed of. Every day is a gift. I am proud to have survived 64 yrs and looking forward to at least 30 more. Now, I would like to be smaller, but I would rather have the donuts at the time:womanlol:………..I live in the moment, with an eye tentatively cast towards a future that may or may not exist (nobody knows when their time on earth is up):….but the donuts are “here and now” and I go for a sure thing…..:womanwink: But, I am a realist too. Sometimes I only eat 2 of the donuts instead of 4 because “tomorrow” seems close at hand (as in it’s 11:30pm and I am in the pantry,,,,)::womanwink:
I agree. I always laugh when I read a review or search on YouTube and see a THIS PRODUCT FAILED by someone who is 16, 18, 25, even 30 when it’s a product designed for skin that has lost elasticity, has lines, extreme dryness and NONE of these individuals have these issues! What, exactly, DID you expect? *shakes my head*
Make Up Alley Product Reviews has an option to search by age; I often check there. It’s interesting how the reviews change (often dramatically) as the age changes… wonder why, lol.
Good suggestion! You’re right. What might work for me, might not work for a 30 year old and vice versa. I hope HSN listens and makes this an option. If not, we can always mention our age in our reviews.
That is a great idea!!! Hadn’t thought of that before, it would be a great help 🙂
Oh, that’s a really good point. I totally agree w u! I will start putting my age in my reviews. Thanks for addressing this!
Sometimes I put my age but not always. I will try to always put my age. I agree it helps.
Oh, that would be helpful! Maybe have an age range.
Additionally, for reviews on clothing, I find it really helpful when they also post height and weight, or even body shape.
