Prai Ageless Moisturizing Creme…Pilling!
I’m sorry but lately Prai products pill up when trying to apply foundation/makeup.
I have used them for years in the past but the new products keep doing this.
Yes, I applied this new creme the rep says is the face component to the neck creme which I like and does not pill up.
So I bought it and have tried it twice on newly washed face with nothing on it and let it soak in (?) before trying to apply makeup but notice it is already making pills on my face before even trying to put foundation on my face.
First time thought I put too much, but no, it happened the second time as well using less.
Is it my skin or just these products? Anyone else have this problem? And yes, I have read the articles on the correct way to apply makeup which I find amusing as I modeled in my younger years and we never had this problem or had to have articles to teach us how to apply moisturizers before.
I use some of the PRAI products but do not have the pilling issue. I do not need to wear makeup but…I do put 5 or 6 serums and creams on my, face, neck & dec, and around my eyes. It takes some time to get it all on because I allow complete drying time between applications. I start with cleansing and toning…after my face dries I put the serums on my face, neck and around my eyes…it maybe at least 15 to 20 minutes later, I start to put on creams for the eyes, face and neck & dec. By the time I have put on my last creams…I have eaten breakfast or dinner and completely dressed for the day or for bed.
I do not use all of the same brand I need Vit. A…C…and more.
I do love her neck cream and have been using it for a while, but never had much luck with any of the other products I tried. I agree about exfoliating regularly, it makes a huge difference in how your skincare works.
I used Prai Ageless Neck Cream for quite a long time. And, I also experienced the ‘pilling’ effect and the little particles on my neck after I would use it. I would just brush them away. I do know that the Ageless Neck Cream has exfoliants. So, maybe those little ‘pills’ are a part of the exfoliation process. To be honest, I wasn’t sure that the cream was even working to rid my neck of some light lines. So, for that reason, I stopped using it.
There are several threads discussing this topic from October to April.
Just my opinion, I think if I go more than 4 days without using my Kelly, and just washing my face, in the humidity I had that, as long as I stay within 3 to 4 days of exfolliating and using serum first it’s fine.
But, as a model you would definitely know what you are doing, as well as we Know Our Skin, I hope someone else will be able to let you know, I wish with all the sell out’s of Products, everyone should Leave Exact Feedback. wishing you good luck and have a great day:) toffeedude xoxo
I’ve tried the Neck and Chin Up trio. The chin up serum did pill. I’ve not tried the Prai face
products fearing they would pill too. Thank you for the heads up.
