PLEASE DO YOUR RESEARCH ON “SHEA BUTTER”……………
Read up and do your research on Shea Butter! It can clog pores, especially with acne prone skin. I know Dimitri uses Shea Butter instead of water in most of his products. Lately I am experiencing “milia” and I think it is the Shea Butter. I use many of SKINN products. Just a heads up.

I am a licensed cosmetologist/esthetician, and it IS possible for some shea butters to be comedogenic. From my own experience, L’Oreal is, in most of their moisturizers. Also some other brands. It has been 15 years since I’ve used Dimitri’s stuff; I found it to be top quality and non comedogenic. I don’t remember if he used shea butter at that time. Unfortunately, my budget doesn’t have room for Dimitri’s products at this time.
It varies from one product to the next and depends on how the shea butter is processed. But it can cause breakouts and milia, so use with caution. Good for those of you who have no problem with it. If you can’t use it, and need more hydration, look for products with ceramides.

Hmmmmm….I use and have used Perlier 99% pure shea butter (solid form until warmed up in your hands) and I slather it on my feet, knees, under my upper arms to keep the crepe away, and on my neck and dec…I mix a bit of t with Perlier Oils or Skinn Algae Oil for my face. No bumps, no zits, not a millia either. Thankfully.
I love the protection and the results. My neck and dec are line-less at 63, my under arm areas are crepe-free and my feet are crack-free, and smooth. I rely on the stuff and have for years.
My face looks pretty good for my age too. I love shea. Just my limited experience and opinion. -
How do you get rid of Milia? I am exp it for the first time

My research says shea butter is non comedogenic. There might be something else going on, maybe using too much product?

I use Skinn products and never get Milia. Been using Shea Butter for over 30 years and no Milia. Maybe it’s just you.
