Perlier – Old Favorites
Does anyone know if Perlier will ever bring back some of the old favorites? I particularly liked White Tea and Bergamot and Sandalwood (not Sandalwood and Sage). It seems the favorites are no longer around; plus you can never find a combo of shower gel and body cream. Any clues??
ERVIE—-I can say with your request we might just see those special scents revived.
Your taste is great–SANDALWOOD—–WHITE TEA & BERGAMONT– Now I want them.
Lets see if we can locate a request form….This is important as many who have not joined
the community yet just might agree.
WELCOME—I will try and locate info on this for you. PROMISE !
I wish they would bring back those wonderful soap bars that were 3 in a box & were octagon shaped. I bought them 2 Christmas’s ago & had I known it was a 1 time only I would have bought more as they are very long lasting & pretty in the bath. I wish they would also bring back the Chocolate scent. I am down to the bottom of my Sandalwood liter so I wish they would bring it back, if I recall I got it on clearance. White Tea & Bergamot sounds nice as well, haven’t tried that one yet.
Ervie, Try contacting HSN customer service and they can pass the information on to their buying team. Awhile back, I posted about a brand that I would like to see on HSN. One of the moderators replied with a message about passing my suggestion on to their buying team. A moderator might join this post and offer to do the same for you. There are no guarantees, but it can’t hurt to ask.
I love Perlier and use their products daily. My favorite scent is honey & biscotti. Heavenly!
I have been buying Perlier since they first came to HSN. There have been so many changes including adding and deleting names of the company. Italian bath and body, Elaria for another. When I first started I bought Gardenia which has been my favorite, I had problems in the past with allergies so was rather afraid to order something from tv. As it turned out I was ok with the allergies and came to be a very good customer. Now, since they keep changing their formulas (organic which leaves the productwith very little scent) and adding new scents and getting rid of old scents I do not buy as much. I miss Blue Iris, and the REAL JASMINE. I do not the mixing of too many scents. I have tried and became allergic to the citrus. So that went in the garbage. Pity money wasted.
I bought a lot of the Sandalwood which is a favorite of mine and when they had the special event with Eat, love pray. I bought and just finished the Indian Jasmine which was to die for. Also long gone is the original musk. New ones are poor imitation.
As for purchasing products no longer listed. I got the phone number for Perlier in N.Y. and they have secured some things for me from Italy.
I am on their e-mail list with another company of theirs Kelamata. You might try e-mailing that.
I miss their Banana Velour. That product was so hydrating, smelled divine and gave a nice sheen to the skin. They also used to have the Mango Coconut which I also miss.
White Tea with Bergamot, please!
I think there were two versions. The original products plus EDT in the square glass bottle from around 2000, love it! The later version maybe 2010 had body spray in a plastic bottle. Nice scent, but not my personal favorite.
Perlier Sandalwood would get my vote as well. I do like Sandalwood and Sage, but would love to have both. I wish I knew if and when these would be back.
Thanks for bringing this up, Ervie.
I haven’t bought any Perlier in quite a while because they keep discontinuing my favorites and I don’t want to fall in love with another product only to see it disappear, too. They keep trying to come up with some new "flavor" instead of continuing to offer the tried and true, and to me, they get rid of their best products:
Mandarin Ginger: a complete sell-out every time you could see it presented and the scent was just divine.
Dark Chocolate: My mother was in love with the hand cream. I loved and used the entire line. Gone.
Hemp: My absolute all-time favorite. So nice and faded to almost unscented. So good for dry skin without the grease and heavy scents of the shea butter products.
Banana Velour: totally agree with the other poster. I thought that would be around forever. Just beautiful on the skin.
I could keep going, but I’m sure I’ve made my point. Now, it’s just honey-this, honey-that (which I’ve never been crazy about) and shea butter shea butter ad nauseum.
