Perlier body cream
Is everyone aware that the Perlier body creams have parabens? How do we contact Skip and Amanda and tell them parabens should not be in their products?
There are plenty of other preservatives out there if a company needs them. Since most companies are taking them out, I think it is safe to say you don’t need the parabens. Several of them have been banned in Europe because there is enough scientific evidence that they do harm our bodies. Methylparaben is the only one so far that has not.
Parabens are usually the last ingredient. I believe Linda Marshall once said you need parabens to preserve the product. If they were the first ingredient, I might be worried.
My husband recently had surgery on his hand and has been using the Olive Oil with shea butter on it. It is amazing how much it has helped. Even his Occupational Therapist noticed. I know they can’t make medical claims, but it is really helping.
Until the FDA acknowledges that there is sufficient evidence showing parabens have an affect on human health, I doubt Perlier will reformulate their brand. However, we should contact them on the Perlier web page and voice our concerns.
I have been thinking the same thing. I would buy them if they did not have the parabens in them.
