I agree with your experience plus after a few days my skin turned red and was very irritated. Sending back.
Hi, candron – I purchased this during the Perlier Mother’s Day Event and have been using it since receiving it. Did you have a specific question about it, or did you just want a general experience review?
Pros: I *do* think it has made a real difference in the diminishment of wrinkle appearance and also overall skin brightness.
Cons: I’m not super crazy about the texture. The encapsulated royal jelly doesn’t completely dissolve upon application – I do end up with little gold…crumbles, for lack of a better word, that I have to sort of dust off after the serum dries/absorbs. Also, the texture of the serum itself is a little off. It feels and applies more like a gel – which is fine. But it almost seemed to stay sticky to the touch, and became even more tacky as the day wore on. Not great under make-up.
Overall, I am a little on the fence about it. I’m determined to use it for the complete 21 days before giving a definitive yea or nay, but so far…I’m not completely sold on it. I *do* think it offers noticeable results. But it is also a little harsh – it has seemed to act almost like a mild peel on my skin. You’ll for sure want to moisturize overnight. But oddly, I think it has also caused me some degree of breakout.
Honestly? As much as I LOVE Perlier and wanted to love this product, I think I’ll be sticking with my Serious Skincare C Power. It *always* works for me, and it’s the product I always go back to when the “latest and greatest” lets me down.
