no! no! 8800 TSV
I’m on the fence about purchasing this deal. Anyone have good results with the device? I’ve read so many negative reviews, but yet HSN continues to sell this. If this truly does work, I’d like to hear from real users. Thanks!
With all the negative reviews on HSN alone, I could not justfy buying a NONO. I looked at the reviews on every item of the NONO and at least 2 of them on the unit itself had over 100 1star reviews with only 25 5star reviews???
I did purchase the YES and so far am quite pleased with it. Watched the videos on the website and watched review on YouTube of grav3yardgirl (she’s pretty wild but I like her). YES intimates that hair will come in less course over time but does not come out and say that it’s permanent.
It’s $39.99 and you may be able to find a $4.00 or $5.00 coupon (I found both coupons in the Sunday section of newspaper). If you get it at Target or Walmart you get 90 days to try it.
It comes with 2 heads 1 for peach fuzz and regular hair and 1 for stubble. This is the closest shave I have had with a battery operated shaver or electric shaver mens or ladies. (I have not tried the Epilady so cannot compare that). It is as close a shave as a razor and like the razor since it is that close it does last a few days. Unlike the razor I have not cut myself.
It is quiet enough that you can use it while watching tv. They call it a "SensaLight" and from what I gather they are saying that the light senses when to turn on. But it turns on when you put it against your skin. I think the light is just so you can see a little bit better while using it.
The only bad thing I see so far is they say that the heads willl last a year but there is no where on their website that shows where you can purchase a new head or the prices. So maybe you have to buy a new unit every year??? (depending on how much you use it).
Have not tried it on hubby yet but will in the next few days. Also have only had it a few days so will let you know if I have any problems with it.
the YES is simpley a shaver which reqires MANY MANY passes. It claims hair wont grow back thicker or coarser. (which is a complete lie) I used it on very mild peach fuzz. NOT mild anymore and needs attention daily. If you use it on both legs the blade seems to not be sharp enough to use on stubble again and will only work on peach fuzz. I bought two for gifts along with mine….didnt get a chance to use it right away and my return period expired. So Im stuck with two brand new ones as well. I would be embarassed to gift them to anyone.
I had a No No for about 3 years until it died. I used it on my arms, legs and blonde peach fuzz. You cannot use the No No like they demonstrate, on body areas (arms legs, etc) you have to move slowly in no more than 4 inch passes and it takes a long time. I thought it was OK until I bought the Epilady in March which I would give 10 stars if I could. For some bizarre reason the item number is missing but if type Epilady in the HSN search bar it comes up for $69 and flex. This actually lasts 3 times as long as the No No (at least a month ) and is very quick to do. It can also be used on the face and gets everywhere easily that the No No doesn’t like chin, upper lip, etc. There are 2 settings, one for face and one for body. This is not a shaver so there is no bristle and no burning like the No No. Can you tell that I just love this little device!
Seemingly through infomercials, tv, magazines and shopping channels .. The No No has been advertised more than Any product in the history of mankind. For me, it is a simple ‘No‘.
I have owned mine for about 3 years. I use this for facial hair and it works on my peach fuzz which friends did notice. I am very fair skinned and blonde but the upper lip and facial hair did show. For me it’s a blessing. With that said I tried under arms with no luck but I can shave there I didn’t want to shave my face so now I don’t have to.
NONO is a big scam…they had reviews on here for NONO before and of course they are gone…and the MAJORITY was negative…they don’t tell the truth on here about NONO….I watched it early this morning and they said "it works on every skin" of course it would do on every skin…it’s not the skin you need know…it’s the type of hair, I go to a spa and have the laser…trust me this is so such a scam.
I bought one and don’t recommend it. Trust the majority bad reviews.
I’ve thought about buying this myself many times but I know it’s good to listen to the HSN ladies who have already purchased it and aren’t happy – too many negative reviews to purchase something at this price range – not worth the chance.
I heard the cheaper one called yes is the same thing. I see it advertised on TV. I myself wouldnt want to get rid of hair for good. I dont know why it is so expensive
