More Beekman

Rather than complain, why not just change the channel? There are many vendors I don’t care for on HSN, so I just don’t watch them, it’s easy. Beekman 1802 is a great company with a great story and a lot of followers; but if you don’t like their products, that’s fine, don’t watch.

yes, Shih128, I agree with both of your posts. Stopped coming on here for a while due to folks posting awful comments to my “freedom of speech” posts. I became so sick of Valerie, and agree now the Beekmans. Worse is they are reruns. ugh. I am old & alone, so most often keep tv on just to listen, & worse about the reruns to me, is prices changed from what is on reruns. Once I went to phone in order then saw price on screen that had increased. Now they post prices may have changed. I have tried a few of Beekman, liquid hand soap too drying for Illinois winters, but I like the bar soap, except some scents are icky to me. The pure shampoo/conditioner, isnt the best & has a strange odor. Last two items I purchased didnt have return label & I dont have a printer, what a pain to phone to request one. I know we are in high inflationary times, but to me many prices are out of control. I finally got smart & “let my fingers do the walking” Last 2 items I was interested in I searched online & found equivalent for less cost & get this “free sipping”. lol. Sometimes I think since they combined hsn & q & also have more channnels, that they feel they have a monopoly. I learned my lesson when “special reduced price” elec.. floor cleaner got me & I ordered it. Too late to return when I saw it online somewhere for $30 less. To me their clothing prices are out of control now. I had loaded my cart with a winter wardrobe as I had lost 20lbs….finally. Spent hours checking sizing, reading reviews (glad for them) and holy cow. Shipping was almost $40. Deleted & shopped elsewhere. So many places offer flat fee shipping now. Thanks for listening to my venting. Think I pretty much had it when I ordered the TS 9 lipsticks. They had the audacity to say the plumper ones do NOT burn like other brands!! Out and out lie, along with other extremely misleading statements. Also seeing that after TS price only increased by $4. HUH? some special. Would have been worth it to me to wait to see the horrible reviews, as even at higher price by 4 bucks wouldnt have to pay $8 retrun shipping. lol.

Absolutely. Nothing wrong with saying that they are on too much and it is not an attack on them being a quality product. I agree. They are on A LOT.

Too many chemicals in their products so I change the channel with them. I like to listen to the radio instead when I want some noise in the house but sometimes even that is a real downer. I think a lot of customers use the shopping channels as human connection but now finding it’s changed enough to be annoying.

This old gal has a lot more time than money, so did some research. The boys sold their company for 92million! Good for them, however I am assuming that is the reason for the change in formulation, and higher prices. I found a lil soap shop mile from my house, where I can enjoy watching the owner make the soap, learn the pure ingredients, and the soap is half the price of Beekman. I purchased probably a year supply, lol, and store them among clothes, linens, etc. for a lovely scent. Seems I am watching less & less of the shopping channels. I am trying to get out of the house to “stores with doors” as I find better priced clothing, and does me good to get out. I think I got lazy during covid! 🙂

I’m at the point I can no longer listen or look at them. It seems like whenever I turm on HSN or QVC they are on. I’m also sick of them using the goat as a prop.

I concur.in my opinion they get way toooooo much air time!
Of course it saves me money (: the more they are on the less I spend .
