Michael Todd Sonicblend
I got mine yesterday. It took more than 8 hours to charge not 3.Anyway I used it this morning and I’d like to know if I did something wrong. The brush left little beige dots where my pores are large and lines where my lines are, also when I used it around the tip of my nose and upper lip it really made me feel like sneezing.I used Bye Bye foundation.Did I press too hard or not enough(I didn’t think it was hard but maybe with this it was).
the directions say to charge it a full 24 hours when you unbox. maybe it is getting MU out of your pores, the brush cant leave marks.Maybe I am missing something here, this is for cleaning right, not putting on your MU?
There’s a learning curve to this tool…….
This brush has a learning curve to it. After using this for several days I finally can review it. First you need to figure out which speed. Then before turning it on you have to put the make up on it then press it on your face then turn it on. Good luck. Each time you put the make up on the brush you have to do this. Turn on, turn off. I just think it is way to much work. I do feel my “It Cosmetics” brush does a better job. You have more control and just as good coverage if not better. I tried it with liquid and powder foundation. It is heavy in your hand. It does remove your concealer so I found I had to put that on afterwards. Be careful not to get it near your eyes, ouch! I am so disappointed because I really wanted it to work. I also had bought 2 other different brush heads they didn’t make a difference either. So back it all went!
@snickersmom It sounds like ur getting the hang of it now! Look at u! I think ur gonna fall in love w the Sonicblend. In addition to @southernlights55 wonderful tips, this helps me get even coverage:
– Pour foundation onto clean, flat surface. I use a glass tray.
– Dip brush head into foundation, covering tops of all bristles.
– Blot excess product off on the tray before application.
I used the low speed yesterday figuring it was more gentle.Today I used the highest speed like you Southernlights and it made a world of difference. Also at that speed my nose isn’t as sneeze prone.(try it on low and see if you feel like sneezing.)Thanks for the advice!
Great! I am going to go try it right now and see if I sneeze. Stay tuned LOL
There is a learning curve with SonicBlend, but I promise, once you master it, you’ll love it. I also use It foundation and wondering if you used enough product. Did you use a primer before application? Mine doesn’t make me sneeze when applying on nose, so not sure about that. I found that if I use the highest speed and take my time, I get a beautiful, airbrush look. Don’t give up! Lots of videos on YouTube to use as tutorials. Michael Todd will be at HSN on May 15th with Sonicblend. Be sure to watch for additional tips.
