Lancome foundation stick
I have used Claire II dual powder. What color should I use in foundation stick?
How IS the makeup stick? I saw one by another company and then saw this one and Lancome has such nice products I wondered what the sticks were like. Has anyone used them after switching from powder or liquid? I just wondered if they felt light on the skin or can you feel it on and if it feels oily at all. Sometimes some things I have tried seem like they never dry down and set up, feeling kind of tacky and end up smearing or transfering on to phones and clothing. They look so easy and convenient! I am hoping they are really comfortable and clean to use as well!
Thanks for your help. That made sense.
There are 13 shades to choose from right now. Trying to find the right shade to match your complexion can be quite daunting even in a brick and mortar store. However, if you’re determined to purchase foundation online you might start with identifying your skin undertone that is either cool, neutral or warm. It can be combinations of these 3 types.
Cool undertones have a blue, pink or red tinge. Are the veins on your wrist blue or purple? Does silver jewelry look best on you? What color is your skin in the sunlight? Does it look blueish? Do you burn easily? If so look for a foundation with redder or blue tones.
Warm undertones have a yellow, gold or peach tinge. Are your wrist veins greenish or olive? Does gold jewelry look better on you? Does your skin appear yellowish when you are in direct sunlight?
Nuetrals have blueish green wrist veins. You can wear silver or gold equally well. Does your skin appear greenish in the sun? Look for a golden or yellow toned foundation.
Once you know your undertone you should attempt to match your jawline coloring to the foundation. This is diffficult to do online and I wouldn’t recommend it especially with so many shades to choose from.
Have you watched the product description video? It might help you decide which one to try if you’re determined to order online. Could you visit a store that carries this product to ask for a technician’s help? Once you find the right shade and wear it for a while you could then reorder online.
