Lancome – Do You Test on Animals
Lancome, please confirm that you do or do not test on animals. HSN’s TSV looked pretty good but I did some background checking and found out that Lancome does tests on animals. Many people may not have a problem with this BUT I do. I can not consciously use your products.
I can most certainly understand anyone who would not want to do business with large conglomerate like L’Oreal who owns brands that test on animals. L’Oreal has quite a few. A few of the brands that L’Oreal has acquired and owns DO NOT TEST ON ANIMALS.
Carol’s Daughter DOES NOT TEST ON ANIMALS at this time
IT Cosmetics DOES NOT TEST ON ANIMALS at this time
The above beauty lines were recently acquired (purchased) from the makers of Carol’s Daughter and IT Cosmetics.
? THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS LIST! Not “NO” but “HELL NO” will I purchase from any of these companies. They should be shamed of themselves. QVC always has “IT COSMETICS” on. Pushing their products. I would love to see/hear of a customer calling in and speaking to “IT COSMETICS” and then sneek in….”BAM” about them testing on animals. I promise this would go viral within 10 minutes….lol….that would equal out to..”WHAT GOES AROUND, COMES AROUND”. Good ole Karma. Don’t want to play with her or………..GOD!
Wow hard to believe that Carols Daughter tests on animals. Shame on Lisa, still representing the company she started in her kitchen., and testing on animals.

I don’t think they need to/nor will they confirm as it’s easy to find out; you found it so….
What I think you want is for them to reply so you can then engage them in conversation. You can do that by contacting Lancome via their custom service section on their website.
Estee Lauder Corporation does animal testing. So, research the number of lines they own: you may be shocked to find you’re using one of their products without knowing. I mention EL because they own more lines than any other cosmetics corporation.
? Thank you for agreeing with me on this MY FRIEND! And all others! I for sure would HATE TO HAVE THEIR JOBS OR BE THE ONE TO DO THIS TESTING. So glad that PETA is out there “WATCHING AND ACTING” on these greedy fools. Their gonna have to answer one day for this (hate to be them).
I would never buy any products that are tested on animals, to me, that says the manufacturer doesn’t have confidence in its safetyl. THere are a lot of brands out there that do not test on animals. I have never used Lancome products. I make my own moisterizers. To be honest, I stopped using bought moisterizers because I have never noticed any great improvement, my skin is still the same without fillers, lifters, tighteners etc. You are never going to look 20. Maybe, I need glasses, but I truly do not notice much difference in the before and after photographs.
Unfortunately, according to PETA and other organizations that work with cosmetic and personal care products, on behalf of cruelty free and organic make up products ~ Lancome DOES indeed test on animals.
Lancome’s parent company is L’Oreal. L’Oreal owns brands that do not test on animals, but Lancome is not one of them. I tried to add info in another thread called FYI Ladies here in beauty, but the mods removed a link.
? yes, we are their voice!!!! testing on animals is completely, absolutely, 100% unecessary and it is cruel. we are better than this. be their voice!!
? ? hi, please see the post from ?. this is a concern for many of us. thank you so much.
Paris, I totally admire that you started this post/question. I would hate that they do test on animals. Those poor helpless creatures of God. I am an animal lover and they have no voice. We are their voice! Keep up the good work “MY FRIEND!” :womanwink:
