Is Elysee leaving HSN?
Is Elysee leaving HSN? A lot of their products are on clearance and they are not restocking items!
Hi SydneyMom, I completely agree with you and the host of others who feel the same. I only buy Elysee and Andrew Lessman from HSN now, and nothing from QVC. The flexpay is nice, but we can still get the special pricing (minus flexpay) directly from both companies.
Next Tuesday I’m going to have a phone chat with Jen Olsen from Elysee and hopefully get a bit more info.
Have a beautiful day ~

Elysee update ~ 7-25-’19 ~
I’ve just phoned Mr. Mike George again, who is the President and CEO of Qurate Retail Inc. I talked with his assistant, D. J. Mitchell, who was very helpful and kind. She didn’t know about the Elysee Co. until I filled her in. She instructed me to write a letter (no e-mail) to Mr. George telling him about Elysee and our hopes to have Linda Marshall back on the air at HSN and QVC. She gave me a mail code and her name so as to make sure she got my letter – she will then give it to Mr. George, and a copy to the programming department. I will phone D. J. to make sure she received my letter and I plan on voicing my/our request often.
*If anyone would like to phone Mr. George and put in a request for Elysee’s return, the number is –
* If you would like to write a letter –

In my last post I said I would phone chat with Jen Olsen from Elysee last Tuesday. Sorry, I only just made the call due to my schedule. I left a message for Jen. She’s great about returning calls, however their hours of business have changed and they’re closed on Friday, so I might not get a call back until next week.
Have a beautiful day and upcoming weekend ~
Malibu Bonnie 🙂
Ok, I’ll be the baddie and say what some others, including myself, are thinking. I don’t give a hill-o-beans what happens to HSN. I despise QVC and quit shopping with them years ago, and am truly sick of HSN and the direction they’ve taken. I’m down to purchasing TWO brands on HSN now (Beekman 1802 and Andrew Lessman’s supplements), both of which I can either purchase from directly or through Amazon. Knowing I have other options with these two vendors, I just don’t care if HSN and/or QVC fold. The other brand I’m loyal to is Philosophy, which I’ve used since 2002. QVC carries them, but I purchase all my Philosophy items through various other sellers (directly, Amazon, Sephora, Ulta, etc.). I feel confident we’ll have other options for Elysee in the near future, but it can’t be broadcast yet (possible for legal reasons?). HSN is not listening to the customers, that’s blatantly obvious since many of us have been complaining loudly for the last couple years. They don’t care what we think, that’s the sad reality.
I can’t imagine how HSN is going to survive after dropping all its good brands: SSC, Joy, Iman, and now Elysee? I will buy Elysee’s products wherever they are. I’m starting to wonder whether they’re going to be shutting the channel down.
Update on Elysee at HSN ~ 7-9-’19
I talked with Jen Olsen from Elysee this morning, and as always, she was amazingly kind and helpful.
* At present, Elysee is not going to another shopping network. However if the right offer was made that would be a future possibility.
** There is also a possibility that Elysee will return to HSN with Linda in featured shows. But that is up to HSN. As of right now, HSN is only allowing Elysee to sell on their website.
* I’ve placed a call to Mike George, President and CEO of Qurate Retail Group, to request that Elysee be returned to HSN and QVC in featured shows.
** When I get a phone number and a “good” e-mail address to Mr. George and his associates, I hope you will join me in sending requests for returning Elysee to network shows. I’ll post the number here.
(Even if Elysee wasn’t selling as much as other brands, if enough of us request (demand) that they return, there’s a good possibility we can make that happen.)
* If an Elysee product is sold out on HSN’s website, we can buy it directly from Elysee at the same price as our existing autoship. At this point there is no date on how long that offer will last.
* Jen said they plan to restock on HSN’s website, but there is no date set for that.
* The “Shelf Life” of Elysee products is 2 years if unopened.
*Parabens – Jen is checking with their chemist to get exact information on the preservative they use, and I will post that info soon. As I’m sure you know, parabens are naturally present in many fresh fruits and veggies, etc. I’m certainly not an advocate of preservatives, however I am an advocate of the truth, and I’m very much opposed to the incorrect hype that storms the media, sending consumers, like me, into worried confusion. The study that scared everyone was found to be botched- the findings were inaccurate. However we need to be very aware of the processed foods, soap products, etc., that we use as to what kind of preservatives are in them. It’s a proven fact that the paraben scare has caused many cosmetic companies to stop using them, because of the fear of lost sales – not for the best interest of the consumers. The use of other preservatives, surprisingly some that are considered green, when mixed with other products interact causing deleterious effects to the users – such as skin irritations, swelling, a foul smell of the product, etc. The rise of contamination in skin care products is at the highest level it has ever been. Linda Marshall is a member of various boards that scrutinize safe ingredients for cosmetics, and she occasionally addresses congress. (Who else in the cosmetic world does that !) For years Linda Marshall has worked with doctors and patients, providing them with her products. And the rigorous testing of those Elysee products (the very same products we buy) before given to the patients is so comprehensive, other companies would be hard-pressed to pass those tests. That is fact. Elysee also has given charitable donations to women’s shelters – we don’t hear about that – and Linda is limited on what she can explain on TV because of network laws.
***There has never been or will ever be any animal testing on any of the Elysee products.***
* The “water” contained in Elysee products is a patented formula so other companies can’t use it. The molecular structure helps other ingredients absorb into the skin more efficiently.
~ I have no affiliation with the Elysee company or Linda and her associates, other than being a grateful consumer of their amazing products – that actually work ! I love that they’re family owned, that dear Linda has spent her life creating an amazing brand and cares so much for her consumers. And of course that the products are made right here in the USA. ~ Please don’t be discouraged and think we can’t bring this amazing company back. Without us, QVC-HSN wouldn’t exist.
Have a lovely evening
BonnABC: Thank you so much for finding out this information for us loyal customers! It is very much appreciated. Elysee products have kept my skin looking young at age 58 because they really work !
I’m going to go out on a limb here, but HSN would not be getting rid of a line that was making money for them…I know that SSC is gone, and Iman, but I think from things Jennifer has said on Evine, SSC wasn’t happy that they were so limited and HSN wanted to control the product line). Iman was tied to Joy Mangano, as was Jay Manuel, Ming Tsi and I don’t know who else. Ming will be back on his own, and we can only hope that Iman makes it back…but Elysee, as much as some people loved the line, just wasn’t selling as productively. If they had been, they would have been given the prime time slots. It’s just the nature of the beast. I worked for a skin care line on QVC for a bit and I know that there are signs when a line is the flavor of the month, or if they put in in time out until they perform.
The hostesses really seemed to promote Elysee, always picking Elysee for Host Pick days with great kits, but Elysee didn’t seem to get good time slots or promotion. Linda Marshall knows her stuff but HSN seems to go with young celebrities versus knowledgable cosmetic chemists. As much as I like Elysee, I don’t like the overabundance of parabens in their line, and am guilty of returning items without even trying them once I saw the paragons in the deck Now I am using Elysee and hoping the parabens are harmless when used on my face! It’s a small line and wanted a longer shelf life, I guess, hence the parabens.
The problem is HSN never really seemed to promote the products all that much in the last few years, yet Elysee really works ! It is a shame that people will not find this out, while we will continue to look younger as we use the products, they will try out other products that just dont cut it. Elysee is the best I’ve used thus far. Look at Linda Marshall, she is proof that these formulations are amazing. I have about a 3 month supply of the blue serum, as I get close to running low, I will contact the Elysee website and see if they can offer the lower prices that HSN did on the serums. I think the blue serum was $34.95 for 1 oz and the red serum was about $26.95 approx for the 1 oz. A lot of celebrities use their products.
If anyone is able to get ahold of elysee if they could post an update here I would appreciate it. I have left messages but haven’t gotten a reply.I want to order and see if they would give me the HSN price
I am glad I found this post as I have been waiting for the FOY to come back in stock and it hasn’t. I am going to try to order directly from elysee, but hope I can get the HSN price. I think HSN is really making a mistake getting rid of Elysee, as it is a great brand.
Hi CTshopper ~
Next Tuesday I’m going to phone Jen Olsen from Elysee and find out more info on how long we can order their products from HSN. The Elysee items that have sold out on HSN’s website are not being restocked.
I’m also going to ask jen;
* If Elysee is going to another shopping network.
* If we can still get our autoship pricing (that we now have from HSN) if we need to buy directly from the company. (That’s a long shot but I’m going to ask.)
If anyone has questions to add to my list, please post them and I’ll make sure I ask Jen about them.
Someone had commented that possibly Linda Marshall did not want to renew her contract with HSN since it was bought by QVC. When I talked with Jen Olsen on 6-25-’19, she told me that it was not Elysee’s choice to leave HSN, but that HSN was “phasing out” Elysee.
There are many “good enough” cosmetic companies, and not all of the new ones at HSN are “bad.” However, after doing verifiable research on the ingredients that really create skin improvements and what doesn’t – Elysee came out on top.
Most of the other brands have such high operating expenses and packaging costs it’s not commercially viable for them to sell “super-charged” products like the family owned and operated Elysee. The others have “fairy-dustings” of important ingredients, or a lesser form that simply doesn’t do the job.
I hope this was of some help. I’ll find out more info next Tuesday.
Have a beautiful day.

Thanks for trying to get some answers! Do you know what the shelf life is for their products? I know they have parabens in them, which I generally try to avoid, which is why I took so long to use their products. But I figure in small doses it won’t be too bad for me when used only on my face. I bought the summer kit which must be from last summer! Hopefully, the products are still viable.
Thanks for planning that call, MBonnie. I think my main question is how long can we count on having our autoships honored. I did speed up two of mine but wonder if I should also speed up my third one. I’d like to wait a while if I can but don’t want to miss being able to get if if the autoships are cancelled. I too hope Elysee can go to another shopping channel. It is definitely my favorite skin care brand. Wishing all at Elysee good things with whatever direction they take.
I am sad about Linda and Elysee leavig HSN… Does anyone know the status of autodelivery products? I have the 3 supersize serums on autodelivery and my order just shipped. Maybe I need to order another one right away! Thanks for any info.
Well stated, Malibu Bonnie. I am devastated and will miss seeing Linda Marshall so much. I loved hearing the science behind the products. So many hosts just have a “trust me” attitude. In other words, it’s just marketing and you really don’t know what you are paying for and what the ingredients in the products are, or if you are getting what you are paying for. I love Elysee products and I have faith in the company. I honestly don’t know what I will do if I cannot get the Elysee products I love so much.
UPDATE 6-25-’19 ~ Elysee is leaving HSN ;
I talked with Jen Olsen from Elysee this morning. Jen was married to Linda Marshall’s son and has worked for Elysee for 26 years. Jen was warm and caring, and confirmed that HSN is “phasing out” Elysee, however their products can still be purchased on HSN’s website.
The Elysee company has not been sold, however that is not to say it’s not going to be sold in the future. Jen said Linda will still be involved with the company even if it is sold.
Linda is moving to her apartment in New Your, that she’s had since the 80’s. It will be more convenient for her because of her active schedule, which entails being on many boards, advisory committees, and periodically addressing congress, all concerning the safest, and most innovative cosmetic ingredients that actually work.
~ And HSN is “phasing out” such an amazingly knowledgeable person and company??? ~
I was personally shocked and quite angered at the treatment Linda received during her last visit on HSN. Her segments were far too short and at odd time frames. The host was respectful, however Linda was interrupted often, cut off midsentence, etc., which seemed due to what the host and Linda were hearing through their earpieces. But as always, our Linda remained graceful, intelligent, witty, and kind.
Huge mistake HSN – phasing out Elysee, but welcoming in other cosmetic brands that are blatantly inferior with ingredients that are laughable, higher priced, and showcased with the most ridiculous fast-talking blather, that’s an absolute insult to the consumers intelligence.
It’s not only cosmetics – look at all the other higher end brands that have been “phased out,” including the talented hosts, and people behind the scenes.
Change is usual with a business takeover, but not like this!
The new QVC-HSN has clearly shown us who they really are, and it’s not acceptable.
The exclusive ownership and control over the two top shopping networks equals a monopoly, so focused on money, they’ve kicked out the human element, inserting the occasional pseudo concern for people and state which equals more insults to the consumers intelligence.
Elysee is an American “family” owned and operated company, who truly care about and treat their consumers like family. Their products have top of the line, innovative ingredients in abundance, that are safe and actually do make short and long term positive changes.
Are we going to allow monopolies to gobble up America’s small but better companies – No!
Jen said if you have any questions to please phone or email.
To Linda, Jen, and all of Elysee, we love and respect you, and thank you so very much for all you do, and of course we will always stay with you, because we’re family.
Linda dear, I’m sure going to miss seeing you on TV, and hope you might do a youtube show to keep being our mentor, and role model.
Love and big warm hugs to all of you – Malibu Bonnie 🙂
Ughhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. I am going to miss Linda Marshall’s appearances on HSN ! Maybe she will transition over to Evine Live ! (lol). Well, I am stocked up with the blue serum for about 3 good months, after that I will have to replenish if I want to keep my youthful skin (wink). I know their prices on the Elysee website are much higher than HSN, maybe they will do something about that. You can also buy them on Amazon, although they don’t have a large selection. Perhaps Elysee did not like the new Corporation merge of HSN/QVC and chose to not renew her contract with these moguls. When one door closes, another one opens! This new corp needs to think about what the customers want, she had been with HSN for a long time. They even got rid of Joy Mangano and I dont see Iman on TV anymore either, loved her denim jeans, they were the best fit for me ! Dimitri James has joined HSN and his products are fabulous, but I would always use the Elysee serums and day and night creams as my go to staple products and then add in other brands, such as Skinn Cosmetics. Perhaps in the next Elysee newsletter we will find out what their next business plans are? Best Wishes to the Elysee Family !
Thank you MalibuBobbie for a beautifully written letter explaining what we have all been so concerned about. I have used Elysee for many years and my daughter has been using it now for almost three years. I go back to the time when Elysee had the very active board interactions between Linda and her loyal fans. It was such a good time. I sped up my auto-ships and so have at least a year’s worth of product but am not sure what I will do after that. Buying from HSN made the products affordable and I have a feeling many of us will not be able to purchase as much now. I truly do not understand where HSN is headed; it is no longer the same friendly company I have shopped with for so long.
Elysee is on Amazon. I read that with the merger, the new huge QVC/HSN entity will be one of the two largest online retailers, the other being Amazon. I also read that QVC/HSN now will appeal to younger buyers. Since Elysee appeals to older women, it’s no surprise if that company leaves HSN. When I saw Elysee on Amazon, I noted the prices remained the same as they were on HSN. So you can purchase them there.
Expect the clothing, cosmetics, jewelry, etc. aimed at older women to disappear from HSN and QVC, or at least HSN. Maybe QVC will retain that audience. But who cares if these products are available elsewhere at the same or lower prices?
I just checked out Elysee products on Amazon and they are very very expensive, they are not the same prices as HSN would offer. Linda Marshall said in her last newsletter that if we buy her products on their own website, they will honor the same price as HSN. So far I’m stocked up, but sooner or later I will run out ! As for HSN/QVC targeting younger buyers, us older folks (50’s and up) need products too !
All you need to do is read the Elysee news letter. They stated last month the facility was moving to NJ and Linda was moving to NY.
But June’s letter states for now the company is staying in WI.
That being said, it sure looks like they are leaving HSN. You don’t do business with a company without carrying their products.
I too wrote to Linda Marshall on her website and did not receive a reply back. I have been buying their products for 7 years now, since I was 51, now I am 58 and it definitely keeps my skin looking younger ! I have stocked up on their blue and red serums and would buy their eye serum every other month. Now you cant find it unless you pick up one of their eye kits. I dont know what I would do without their products ! Their products are much affordable on HSN due to the flex pay options, otherwise I would have to purchase them on their own website at a higher retail price.
I am so sad to not be able to get my Elysee products at HSN. I too have emailed Linda and no one has responded.
It would be so sad. So many of the higher priced names do not have the science or ingredients to compare to Elysee. If they leave, HSN, I hope there is some other shopping channel for them. I will follow them.
Is HSN doing to Elysee what it did to Serious Skin Care?
I tried writing Linda on her own website asking about the status with HSN and received no response after three days. I’m feeling like something is changing and something is keeping both HSN and Linda from telling us about it. I am concerned about auto ships. I just advanced two of them since products are out of stock and not being replaced.
