infomercial beauty products
I was wondering if anyone here has tried any of these two products. Dr. Ordon (DermaExclusive) and Jane Seymore (Crepe Erase) are singing their praises. They obviously want to sell you the whole kit with subsequent auto shipments. Would be nice if they would eventually come to HSN where we could pick and choose the items we want.
Treckky you are smart to steer clear of Informercials and E-bay. Took me 13 years, some mistakes of buying a few knock-off products to find a very few trusted sellers on E-Bay. I found one who I buy Dr P products occasionally but is all. I sometimes sell Isomers on there and clothing when I have excess. SSC has some great items on HSN as do other brands here that sell for a better price then some others (who have informercials) and do quite the same thing. Is all in the ingrediant deck. I was a Q buyer and never dared post on their forums (found the forums there to be brutal to put it lightly LOL) but now am finding HSN nicer forums, better customer service and great products. I read about Crepe Erase and DemaEclusive on forums and I find alot of complaints about the informercial trap. Is all over the top hype geared towards women in the aging process, each promising things only surgery can truly deliver LOL….sigh. From those who learned LOLOL. Thanks xxxx Stormy
Thanks Patty and Stormygirl. Yes I have seen the super mel c in SSC. Sorry Ebay is another one that I don’t do.
Trekky the only Cindy Crawford product worth trying is the Creme de Serum and if you would like to try it may I suggest you go on E-Bay to purchase (make sure the seller has good feedback score like me) At least you wont get trapped by the distributor, Guthie Renker into giving your credit card to a stranger and you wont get sucked into the never ending evergreen refill program. Sure you wont get a refund if you do not like it but you also wont have a contract to uphold or get sucked into the informercial trap.. E-Bay is full of Meaningful Beauty, WEN and Crepe Erase suckers trying to unload their surplus LOL at a good price. You get the product without paying the "other" price the sellers have already paid LOL The creme de la serum has the "magic" ingrediant (im sure I will mispell it) Oxidative dismutase which is the melon extract that I am sure other products contain. Just look for their touted ingrediant that is their selling point and Im sure other skincare lines also contain same thing. For example Dr Perricone sells on his DMAE ingrediant (SSC also has a product containing DMAE for much less) Once one is versed in ingrediants can find much cheaper products with same but you wont be paying extra for the over the top for the informercials and paid actors which is what we end up doing. I have seen both Cindy Crawford and Crepe Erase on E-Bay. DONT PICK UP THAT PHONE at night though LOLOL.
Hi ITZME.Ohhhh noooooooo the dreaded informercial….is like a shark, once they bite you and suck you into the hype and false promises is like being caught in a never ending trap of deception and credit card withdrawals. I did it a few times, never again. Informercial is alittle like HSN but on STEROIDS. At least HSN has excellent customer service and a great return policy. Informericals are paid celebs and actors all claiming over-the-top hype for their products, each claiming to have the miracle product to cure "aging skin", "hair woes" etc etc. They pay good money to have their informercials on at night when one is most vulnerable. Once you watch and like me get caught up in the hype (well they look so trusting and beautiful) you pick up the dreaded phone and BAM….they get you like a fish stuck to a hook. Problem is u will soon choke on the bait. A nice operator from say "Guthie Renker" will rush through any questions you may have and their goal is to get your credit card information. After that you are in the trap. The product arrives at your door (hopefully) and if you do not like it just try to get some "live person" from their customer service on the phone to cancel your refill program. If y ou are lucky enough to get ahold of them…well they will then high pressure try to get you to continue with their "exclusive gold customer status" You get too much product that keeps arriving and arriving and so many withdrawals from your credit card is hard to keep up and MORE HARD to stop it. I had to cancel my card to stop them!! Any more questions about informercial traps? If they had such a great product they wouldnt have to resort to informercials. I havent bought a miracle from TV yet. Never again for me. Thanks xxxxxx Stormy
