I wonder if they notice that the black models makeup looks very ashen. What color does not look good
I would think that the Black models have a Lot to say about their makeup. I think that they always look very nice
When modeling clothes, jewelry etc. their ‘made-up’ look is very pretty. – imo
On the flip side, I am very fair.
Most all the shades are way too YELLOW for me. I don’t need color correction.
They think they are smarter than us, and keep doing it THEIR way. Conventional wisdom is that you need yellow. Maybe they think that way for darker shades too. I often wonder if darker shades are dark ENOUGH for some skin.
Too bad we’re all not their favorite – MEDIUM!
Shrinkingwm I haven’t notice, guess I’m all rapped-up in the moment of what their selling. I will try and pay attention to that. Seems as though they would have a matching color for darker skin (as many foundation companies out there). Being you brought this up, just like Dynac said, they will probably correct this matter. Bet your not the only one that has noticed this. I do have to say the women are very pretty and carry themselves with class.
I‘m an AAW. I know what shrinkingwm is referring to.
Just because a cosmetic company/manufacturer says they have shades for darker women, doesn’t mean they compliment our skin tones. In my case, I have red undertone. Majority of cosmetics sold on HSN, and other shopping channesl, have yellow in their shades. There’s other factors that make makeup look ashy.
I wish HSN would sell cosmetic line Black|up. They have beautiful shades of makeup for everybody and it looks good too.
I really have not notice the models looking ashen:) They are very lovely:heart:
Well as long as you noticed and posted about it I am sure someone will make them aware they look ashen.I have no idea what color does not look good.
