Hair Products For Fine Hair
I have thin but wavy hair. I use volumizing products but that makes my hair a bit frizzy.
I am wearing my hair now in a more sleeker style and looking for smoothing shampoo and conditioner and other products that won’t weigh my thin hair down.
Any thoughts on Carol’s Daughter products or any other brands?
luvmytzu- yes the volumizing products will make the hair frizzy as anything volumizing will cause the hair shaft to swell. Please be careful with any products that have a lot of dimethicone in them as since you have fine hair this will weigh your hair down & make it appear greasy. I have the same type hair as you so I have to be careful to not use any heavy shine sprays. You asked for any other brands? I use Pureology Smoothing shampoo & conditioner & once a week use their deep conditioner as in the winter with the dry heat my hair seems to get dry and frizz up. I also before blow drying my hair with a large round thermal brush put smoothing serum on,apply from ears down as you don’t want the top of your hair to lay flat to your head. I use the round thermal brush to build a little bit of volume at the top and then use the brush with the blow dryer with the nozzle on & work down the hair shaft to smooth out the hair. The thermal brush will make the hair lay sleeker & smoother as it has ions to take the frizz out. Then I lightly spray with a canned shine spray & then use medium hairspray to hold so the hair stays sleek, straight & shiny. Best of luck to you & happy holidays! 🙂
My hair is also fine & thin with a natural wave, check out the Tweak-d products…they do not weigh your hair down at all & work fabulously for me! The reviews are excellent & I posted a thread here with some pics a fews days ago :smileyhappy:
