Hair down there
What method do u use?
I use the Schick Quattro (trimmer on one end, razor on one end) in the shower.
Then after, I apply Serious Serum (not a Serious Skincare product, btw) to counter any razor rash.
Just stumbled into this thread. LOL
Has anyone gone the Kim Kardashian route and lasered it off? I just can’t imagine.
I love it that this thread is still going strong!!!!! Great thread Kemi!! You are awesome 🙂 Say what you mean & mean what you say 🙂
I just shaved but I don’t like it because like most of what you ladies said, it gets itchy and prickly after a day. Sigh.. I have a 3 year old, who has time for that? LOL! I have yet to attempt using my husband’s electric razor, I don’t think he will appreciate me using it on there… LOL!
I just use a razor to get rid of those pesky hairs down there, gets real embarrassing when you’re having a pedicure.
Wait …. what… I’m talking about my big toe hairs, what else!!:womanlol::smileylol:
Well….This was entertaining! ROFLMAO
Gise I am like you, been there and done all that. I finally realized that no man (or swimsuit) is worth all the pain, discomfort and trouble. I only shave and use scissors (very carefully) and went from bikini bathing suits to swim shorts and swim tops! And ladies, I highly recommend Aveeno Positively Smooth Shave Gel (which foams up) for shaving. It will help you shave less often and helps prevent nicks, cuts and razor bumps. Hair grows in more slowly and softer. It has natural soy in it and is dermatologist recommended.:womanlol:
Well since you are asking…I’ve pretty much done it all depending on the boyfriend I had at the time.
Had to do the Brazillian wax with the much younger than me Brazillian hottie. Then there’s the landing strip prefered by most men. The all over pre pubescent look always made me wonder who am I dating and why?
Yes I have been completely exposed more so than a visit to the gynocologist…at least he’s not having to tug, pull, make you raise your leg practically behind your head like a contortionist or move things around side to side and up and down if you know what I mean.
Don’t get me started on the waxing done in Italy with a regular cooking pot full of hot wax and a wooden spoon to slather it on with!
I really prefer shaving now and to hell with what the guy wants! If he asks then I’ll tell him I get to do it to him first!
Great thread ? and to everyone else contributing!
LMAO & this thread is still going !!!!!!!!! ? U ROCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The Shaving system you buy at Costco in bulk that has the razor wrapped around conditioning cream and moisturizer all in one (the name escapes me). Smooth as glass.
OMG Kemiqueen…..you and all have made my day/night (it’s late and still up). Girl’s….all of you who get waxed need to be nominated for the “NOBEL PEACE PRIZE.” I tried that one time when my husband gave me a very expensive, all day spa treatment. Oh HELL NO!!!!!!!!!! I just about cleared that table when the Esthetician waxed me. It hurt like “HELL!” NOT FOR ME :womansurprised: Now I will make you girls laugh: One day my friend came to visit me and she just couldn’t sit down. Kept wiggling while we was having coffee. So, I ask her, “What is your problem? You just can’t sit still.” She say, “I was grooming down their with Mark’s (her husband) electric razor, couldn’t see what I was doing well, and…I chewed myself up.” Girls: I laughed so hard I was vapor-lock…couldn’t breathe. What are friends for????? Anyway, to answer this post::::lol….
I use my husbands mustache/beard electric (small) razor and it works like a gem. Hope I made ya’ll laugh…..I’m laughing! :womanlol :womanlol:
I just read some of your post an never have laughed so hard.Guess I’ve been lucky. I found if you buy an epilator with the regular shaving head that does just fine.My changes from an epilator to a shaver., it has the blade on the side you can push up like you were going to trim your sideburns(like men do) So far no cuts or nicks.Good-luck gals
ooooooh!!!! omg kemiqueen too funny !! haha 🙂
I’ve had “the wax job” several times. The first several times was by a gal I had been going to for facial treatments (I can’t remember what it was called but it involved electrical currents and wands were involved) So I was familiar with this person for almost six months. She was actually the one who talked me into getting waxed. She was very good and I was never put into any awkward positions. Stings but hey, I’ve had three kids so, I could handle it. I loved it, especially during summer. The result Lasts 10 -14 days. She eventually went into just skincare for a doctor and the spa where she had been working changed hands I used one gal with the new owners and she was uncomfortable doing the brazilians and she was rather rough- used too big of strips at a time and was painful. So….. If you have it done, best visit the place of business first and book some other type of appt first so that you are familiar with each other
I always go for professional waxing. Good post Keimqueen.
