Do we change our type of face moisturizers
So if I spell things wrong trying to get this posted before I have to leave for work. What I wanted to know do we still use the same mositurizer in the summer as we used in the winter time? Should I be buying a oil free one?
Every few years I had to change the kind of moisturizer. I am 62 and now I use M Asam hydro cleanser, suzanne somers calming toner and pure coco butter as a moisturizer. I am using products with a few natural ingredients.
i have to really be careful as to what products i use on my face as my skin is prone to acne. (ie. no oils of any sort, no cold cream, etc.) believe it or not, i do not change my moisturizers in between seasons but, i do switch out my cleansers. in the wintertime, i use a more moisturizing cleanser in addition to my regular routine. i really, really love burts bees. it offers a full range of good for you products. i hope this helps!! xoxo. psandbtw, i am also a firm believer in staying hydrated all year long. some people may not drink as much water in the wintertime as they do in the summertime. this is a big mistake!! especially with all of the indoor heat and traveling with coats, scarves, etc. i suggest staying well hydrated all year long. xoxo.
Hi SweetClover, I think the answer to your question depends upon where you live, your skin type and even your age. I live in the desert, have extremely dry skin that tends to still break out if I use the "wrong" skin care. So I use the same products during the summer…
SweetClover, I do not know your skin type but I change to an oil free moisturizer in the summer. Oil based moisturizers are too heavy for me and when the heat and humidity mixes with oil, well my face is oily, my makeup is running. I also tend to use the BB or CC types of makeup as they blend as you tan because you are out in the sun more even for short periods of time.
