Was curious to know how many hours these strips will support the eyelid. Also, will they just dissolve with soap and water, or do you have to remove with the tweezers? Thanks, Denise
To take mine off I just put some of my usual eye makeup remover on it which is coconut oil. And you gently pull it off. Is that what everybody else does?
Unfortunately for me…the special occasion would have to be Halloween! LO LI spent way too many hours finding the "perfect" placement. with several days break in between because of the iritation from placing and replacing. My conclusions….one size is not for all. The edges more noticable the smaller your eyes are. I dont have small eyes for my face but Im only about 5ft tall …. They are less detectable on very fair skin. I have light olive skin and mine were alot more noticable than my fair complected daughter in law They gave me a beautifully large eyelid and really opened up my eyes. after a few hours the skin it pushed up seemed puffy and started drooping down over the new large lid it created. Oddly, I spent hours trying to make eye make up work on these. Primer (Too Faced) made them stick out like a sore thumb. Every shadow was shiny and "pearilized". Even matte finish. the gap between the Contour Lid and lash line needs filled with Liner. Too heavy for my taste. Im 46 and by very best outcome was looking like a 60plus hooker with abnormally huge eyes. Velveteen Rabbit gave you the exact same placement technique I came up with. I was so excited about getting these. They were a huge disappointed that I had to return. Now It really irritates me to see it presented. If you try them…id start with a smaller size than I did. I tried the 7. It seems the smaller ones are less noticable, but I wouldnt waste my money.
Thank you so much for bringing up the thread VelveteenRabbit7! It really helped to have more information and all the different reactions and opinions. I have my makeup routine down pat and I’m not sure I want to spend the extra time every day with these. It does sound like a good option for a special occasion though. Thanks again.:womanhappy:
I just brought the "Anyone tried these" thread back up for those of you looking at these today. I wrote very detailed instructions and my findings. Hope this helps someone.
Velveteen Rabbit7 – You’ve used these? If so, please let me know what you think of them and if you used eyeshadow with them. I am tempted but I read some of the reviews and now I am not so sure. Thank you!:womanlol:
The strips stay in place until you remove them from the eyelid. You have to take off the eyelid they will not dissolve.
