concealer for deep scar
Does Lancome have a product I can use to cover a deep scar on my face before I put on my foundation? Concealer does not make much difference. It’s a scar from surgery from a dog bite on my chin.
dermaflage is the only thing that works for me.
it is sold online.
hope that helps!
:womanhappy::heart:I always keep dermablend in the house, it’s so very helpful for BIG SCARS, LITTLE SCARS AND HAS WORKED FOR US FOR YEARS. agree with you MemphisVette, this is right on HSN AND A LITTLE GOES A LONG WAY XOXOOXO
I agree Toff! Dermablend makeup is the best! It’s waterproof and conceals anything and everything. Once you apply it …forget about it! For a product that is reasonably priced you can’t do better. It’s priceless! Hope you get to try some @allmydogs! Good luck. Keep us posted ??
I DONT THINK THE OTHER GIRLS WHO HAVE CHIMED IN WITH DERMABLEND UNDERSTAND THAT A DEEP SCAR MAY NEED A GOOD DEAL MORE ATTENTION THAN SIMPLE COLOR AND GREAT COVERAGE.
PLEASE CHECK DERMAFLAGE AS THEY ARE TRULY THE ONLY THING I HAVE FOUND THAT ADDRESSES THE DEPTH OF THE SCAR TOO.
HOPE THIS HELPS!
I do understand. I have suffered from severe cases of pustular, cystic acne. Dermablend covers tattoos so it’s definitely going to cover a scar. I haven’t heard of Dermaflage but it’s nice to post your suggestion as well. All I know is Dermablend works as well as being cost effective and waterproof. We all try to help here the best we can. It’s not meant to be competitive really.
i bought tha lamcom miracle an lapus eye liner been wearin it for 19 years
Never heard of dermaflage before but I just looked into it and it sounds promising.
Miracle Skin Transformer might work for you too- I have tried the concealer which is nice and concentrated, just a bit covers a large area. It is creamy and dries to a powdery finish. It is formulated with skin care ingredients so it could be viewed as daytime treatment.
I have never tried It Cosmetics but the creator has suffered with skin issues so she teamed up with professionals to address those things in her makeup (especially the CC foundation thingy). Seems good for major coverage jobs. I have heard fantastic things about Dermablend as well, I believe it is one of the first brands to deal with various coverage jobs.
In general a great full coverage foundation to use when you do not want/ have time for the full layering rountine is Neutrogena Cream Compact Foundation (the best foundation ever, imho). The sunscreen in it helps protect delicate areas from more damage. The foundation goes on beautifully whether your skin looks good or has issues- also goes on creamy and dries to a powder finish (I love when I can just put something on and head out the door).
I think for a deep scar something creamy that fills but stays put seems like the magic formula.
The take away- LOTS of great options, thankfully 🙂
