Cant review a beauty product
Recently (within 14 days of purchase ) I wanted to leave a review about the Lancome beauty products that I purchased as a set. It contained a quad eyeshadow, a full sized lipstick, a full sized mascara and a sample of facial serum. I don’t review often but felt compelled as 3 of the four products were not to my liking and wanted to give warning. All the products are still being sold on the site just not bundled in a set but because they are not together anymore I can’t leave a review for any of them.
Well, I think that’s lousy because if you have experience with a product you should be able to give an honest review. I think the Lancome mascara is crappy, it flakes and bleeds onto my skin, it also clumps. The lipstick was such a funky pink color that I would not wear it and the serum was so miniscule that I have no opinion. The quad eyeshadow in French Nude is very nice however not long lasting. I guess be careful about supposed "deals" that are bundled together.
I think it’s lousy, too. I bought the very last BOGO of SSC’s Light Fraxion serum, thus, TWO bottles of the stuff (which I love, btw)… and after my purchase it was, of course, sold out… but I can’t post a review on the single bottle offering because the item numbers are different. Really HSN? You can’t cross-reference the item numbers for something like that? If I buy, say, a Vitamin C kit that has five products, I should be able to review all of those products offered individually.

i had a not so good experience with hsn today as well. it’s time for me to move on to other sources. not shopping channels. forget that.
I want to add not all items in your order history can you go back to and leave a review for. I tried TODAY to write a review for a shirt I received last week and returned due to the arms were too long. It would not take me to the product page, or give a button in the order history for that product to leave a review.
If you go to your order section and select the order number then you will still be able to write a review for any items that you have purchased that are no longer sold under that item number. I have been able to leave reviews months out. I love to buy those sets and sell/trade the items that I do not use and can end up getting my one item from a cosmetic bundle for free 🙂
