HSN mis-shipped my order and refuses to do anything about it. The supervisor just said so sorry and said I was out of luck. What kind of solution is that? I would think they could do something to get the product I ordered to me. No effort on their part. I guess they don’t need customers- unbelievable poor customer service.
If it is sold out, they can’t replace it but they can certainly give you a refund. Are you telling us that you are not getting a refund?

The problem with online shopping!! Generally, the three main shopping channels are decent about taking care of basic problems. I went thru hell with Macy’s and it took over a month to get it resolved. Turned out the CSR was to check on it the following day, but did not. Got a supervisor who believed me, the item was out of stock by then, and got my credit card refund within two days. That is nothing compared to Comcast and what I went thru for about five weeks to get something changed on my phone account. Finally, tried doing it myself online, and IT WORKED. I don’t purchase much online anymore for two reasons —– my income is much less now; hate paying all that S&H, especially with returns.
My experiences have always been beyond good. HSN, in my experience, goes above what any retail company does. I just don’t understand how anyone could have such a valid complaint. Maybe if there was more detail so we in the community could understand and help think of a solution.
Sounds to me like she got a product she didn’t order, or the product went to someone else by mistake. That may or may not be HSN’s fault. Could be the delivery folk. I’ve had my share of bad customer service from UPS and Fedex over the years.
You could call UPS/Fedex if you think the problem lays there.
What are you calling a mis-shipped order? What was the supv. saying the reason was? Is it something that your ordered on the wait list or something that is on back order? Or is it something that has sold out? Was it something they shipped out and you wanted to return for another size and it not avail.? I am not understanding, Like the other shoppers, I have always been satisfied with customer service.
Call your credit card company for a refund.

That is very odd and upsetting. Usually supervisors make the customer happy. Have u tried posting to the Help forum on the Community? I have received great assistance there. The Chat reps on the full site r very helpful too.
HSN Customer Service has the best reputation out of all the television shopping channels, sorry but your “story” doesn’t sound believable.
