Best moisturizer for dry sensitive skin
I haven’t tried anything new in a while and my skin is changing as I get older…I need something different. I have very sensitive skin, so I’m limited. Right now I’m using fragrance free oil of olay moisturizer but it isn’t doing anything to help, it just doesn’t irritate.
Anyone have a favorite fragrance free serum or moisturizer or one that doesn’t irritate your skin?
I’ve been looking at Skinn serums, anyone have luck with those? I tried Dr. Denese Hydroshield and it didn’t work for me.
Also I had luck with ice elements 2 minute miracle for exfoliation but can’t find it anymore, do you know where to get it?
Thank you for any info!
i totally recommend the perlier imperial honey line for mature skins. or, if your skin is not so mature, i still recommend the perlier line- perhaps hydro-shield?
this perlier line can be found right here on hsn. just go to the search box at the top of the hsn homepage and type in "perlier" and the hsn perlier inventory should pop up.
also on hsn, i recommend korres brand "youghurt" facial/ night cream. it is natural and good for mature skin.
also, i recommend philosophy "hope in a jar" moisturizer for all skin types. or, for more mature skin, they just came out with a "stronger" moisturizer called "renewed" or something like that.
just go to the philosphy home page and look up "moisturizer" or they have a tab for "skin care" that you can just click on and all of the skin care options are available right there.
also, try "kiehl’s midnight recovery" concentrate/serum. it is a night-time facial oil that will transform your skin from dry to plump.
also, try weleda skin food. it is organic and formulated for the hands and body but it can be and is used by a lot of people on their face- just not on the eyes!!! some beauty editors can’t live without it.
as for me, i try to use all natural ingredients such as 100% pure shea butter, vitamin e creme and also 100% pure jojoba oil. i have acne prone skin so i am very picky and super careful about what i put on my skin as it can very easily cause inflammation and irritation. i really don’t need anything aggravating any acne. i love the iherb website. they are super affordable and i usually find all that i need.
if you can’t find what you need, i suggest phone calling and/or emailing the company/store/online store and putting in a product request. this usually gets forwarded to a product buyer who will be able to order the item(s) and place it into the store’s inventory.
i also like shopping in-store at harmon discount beauty. (harmon’s is owned by the same company as "bed bath and beyond".) they are so awesome!! they have a huge inventory of brand-name, high quality and quite affordable bath and beauty products as well as carrying many other things to pamper yourself as well. and, they offer great 20% off and $5 off $20 coupons. every little bit of savings helps. i love you harmon’s!!! xoxo
as for online shopping, i like amazon, l’occitane en provence, kiehl’s, casswell-massey, crabtree and evelyn, sephora or dermstore. they tend to have a nice array of products- especially in the moisturizer category.
i also suggest going to allure magazine webpage and researching some products there.
i hope this helps!! i can’t think of anything else right now. if i remember something else, i will post it. thanks for asking such an important question!!! most people can relate to it well. love it. xoxo
