what can u do to look better in those awful floresent lights for instance while shopping
what was that
nothin with the light cause we got different skin colorin. that s silly you need a pinky hue. Smookscreem it gurl an bell been usin a liter for year on hur pencil gurl we buy lancom so that is silly
Tamrick..good to know! I found it burns my lips but not tried SCA. Thanks. I used Lorac lip pencils/ color in berry pinks with a matte finish and some sheer gloss on top. I find the pencil lip colors create a more defined lip. They are my go to now and am very pleased because they don’t go into lines or run. Just sharing. They have a set of glosses that I want to try. Pretty colors!
Also, if you want to achieve a softer eyeliner look and without tugging on your eye to apply it try heating the tip of your eyeliner pencil with a hairdryer for 7-8 seconds. It does soften the look considerably and makes applying your eyeliner much easier.
also i use sca lip plumpers all around mouth area and puppet lines any lines i want to decrease
wow thank you all so much that was very very helpful they should change the lighting to evening lighting they would sell more
Interesting question. Those fluorescent lights at the office or the mall can make you look hungover, sick, drier, tired, harsh and/or older. Try using a serum with peptides to plump up your skin to battle the dry look. I like Dr. Graf’s Vita Peptide Serum, Item #654-817. Cream blush and highlighters help too. A clear lipgloss over your lipstick combats the dry lipstick look.
As far as makeup, black eyeliner looks harsh under this type of lighting. Opt for dark brown, deep green or deep purple. Smashbox Eyeliner in Violetta, Item #365-890 or Trish McEvoy’s Emerald Eyeliner are examples that work well. Extra under eye concealer is needed…dark circles look even darker under fluorescent lighting.
Since fluorescent lights case a blue green tinge onto our skin making it look pinker, stay away from lipsticks that are bright pinks or reds. Choose darker pinks and darker reds. Don’t use bronzers either because they can make your skin look orangey. Anything taupe, beige or sandy for eye shadow can make your skin look muddy so substitute warm browns, peaches & roses.
Whew, that’s quite a bit to think about and we didn’t even discuss foundation. One last thing…do your makeup with a lighted makeup mirror on the office setting if you can.
:womanvery-happy:Luckily I need glasses to see, tinted also for sunglight, work perfect, especially in a mall with bright lights. Glasses have done the trick for me. xxoxoxo Toffeedude
thank you beautyluv2
That is a really great question.
I have tried some sunglasses that have light pink tinted lenses and that did the trick.
Hope that helps!
