It would be informative if you talked about the shades. What’s the difference between Light/Light Medium and Medium? Someone with Olive skin?

Doris’ color pallette leans heavily into the yellow (warm). Even the fair is more warm yellow than cool pink. You CAN blend it out to sheer which helps with a cooler skintone, but it’s not the best. Her lipsticks are good – she used to sell another product line that was really old school lipsticks – Fran Wilson Moodmatchers I believe. I could be mistaken.

  I’ve been using Doll 10 for awhile now and I love the products. Doris does explain the foundation colors when she presents, but you can’t go wrong with either color. I myself use light medium and if you have a little color in the summer, the medium will work too. The coverage is beautiful and stays true after many hours. You could order one color and the next time get the other color and use both. She’s always inventing another foundation, so I would suggest just trying it because I think you’ll love it. Her mascara and eyeshadow and blush, etc. are also wonderful. Easy to apply and the premise is to do your makeup in 10 minutes, hence Doll 10.. I for one am proud to be a member of the Doll squad!

A cosmetic company with the name of Doll is unsettling to me. I would think most women today would be insulted if they were referred to as a Doll!

  So you are offended by the name?????? So don’t buy it – did you sit around trying to come up with what you consider offensive and think she should change her entire logo on her products so you won’t be offended? OMG – not trying to be rude but get a life or a new beauty product. Most here are adults not easily offended by a name that can have a variety of meanings none of which the average level headed adult woman would be offended by. I am stunned by your overwhelming sensitivity and expectation that she should finance a new logo so you won’t be offended. Buy a product whose name makes you feel warm and fuzzy, that won’t keep you up at night with the overwhelming need to post because “Doll” is just not acceptable to you.

  Hi, it never occurred to me to be bothered by it which I am not. But everyone is different and I understand if it bothers you.
  When my son was little he watched the movie Pearl Harbor and there is a line in the movie where a woman is called “Doll face” . That was my nickname for the next few days.

  Her last name is Dalton which sounds like Doll 10….. It’s makeup so I use it to feel more feminine and girly so I like the name. I think it’s cute.😊 I would never get offended because I’ve even said I like to get all dolled up 😉 But some might🤷‍♀️

  Hopefully, if you do an exchange, they will send you the right color that you wish to exchange it for. Hopefully, people don’t have my luck (lol). One time HSN sent me the wrong print when I ordered bed sheets. I exchanged them and HSN once again sent me the wrong print. Recently, I exchanged a Diane Gilman jacket in chambray for midtone. HSN sent me indigo! So, good luck on the exchanges! 🙂
