Interested in this brand of shoe....and missed out on the last TS they had.
Can anyone give me their opinion on these....looking for a good support shoe and comfort as well....using them mainly for exercise tapes...and some outside walking.
Also, do they run true to size?? Run narrow?? I live in a warm climate and these look like they would "breath" well and not give me sweaty feet.
I ordered the last TS Earth shoe and promptly returned them, they were so ugly (like clown shoes) and sizing ran small/short. You probably need to size 1/2 size larger. At the same time I had ordered a pair of casual earth shoes from Zappos and only could stand them for one day, it is a wierd sensation to feel like you are walking uphill all day. I returned those shoes also. The last TS was the Razor, you can read the reviews online here at HSN and check out reviews of Earth shoes at Zappos. I would not use these or any Earth shoe for serious workouts, for the price you could probably get a pair of Asics. If you read reviews Earth shoes are the answer for some people, but you have to wear them. I could not get used to the tilting back sensation. I also wasn't sure how that was going to affect my feet alternating between negative heels and normal shoes.
I'm a big fan of Earth shoes and wear them year round. Yes, size up 1/2. The shoes last forever. True, they are not dainty looking, but when one is on their feet hours at a time, this supportive , comfortable shoe is more important. The negative heel feels great.
I am sure the Earth shoe is wonderful, but that's a lot of money for a shoe, and to not be able to try it on 1st is an issure for me.
If I order it, and it doesn't fit, I end up sending it back, and having to pay to ship it back, and that isn't ok with me. I checked to see if they had any on clearance, or on sale, and there are some that are much less money than the TS,
but I also noticed not many of the shoes had a rating higher than 2 star.
That is a problem for me.
I just bought 3 pair. I had a gift certificate and that basically paid for one. These are the only shoes/sneakers that I constantly wear. I have heel spurs and they help so much. I wear size 7 and that is my true size. I dont size up. These sneakers are worth every penny in my mind. I will save the ones I got today for spring.
I purchased the last TS and am returning them, I have tried on other earth sandals/shoes in Dillards and they felt better than these, they don't really lace up (razor) but the arch wasn't comfortable, and I found them not wide enough, yet felt sloppy, I have wide feet they were close but the side ribbons that held the laces hit my pinky toe and didn't feel right and the length was a bit short. I don't care for the slip on idea that the laces don't do much, I have touchy feet and they the shoes have to feel good, I just don't think the last TS was all that great for me.
They are going back, but I like the theory behind them, thus has anyone tried 321-582 in the earth shoe, I sized up to a 12 and am hoping that it is not tight. Anyone have these? The shoes were great for taking pressure off a previous broken toe but for treadmill and exercise I would stick to regular athletic shoes with more cushion in the heel.
Have been checking out amazon and zappos, looking into a clog type with a wider toe box.
:-$ These shoes are the best sport shoes I have ever had! I work as a circuit coach at a leading gym for women and am on my feet for hours at a time. My feet never get tired, they provide excellent support for my arches, and look good on my feet as well. True, it takes time to get used to the heel being lower than the toe but you end up with stronger calves that way and more tone in your legs.
Finding sport shoes has always been a chore for me as I have one foot that is long and narrow and the other is short and wide. I took a chance on the Earth brand during a previous TS and liked them so much I bought another pair through Zappos. They are NOT ugly nor are they clown shoes. I recommend them for everyone!
