Create a process where autoship orders are not cancelled due to expired credit card. Instead, notify the customer the order is on hold until the payment data is updated on their account. Allow the customer to update the expiration/payment data on their account which will remove the hold on the auto ship order once this is done.
Current processes cancel the autoship and do not allow the customer to edit the autoship order. Customer is only allowed to update expiration date for credit card but autoship order remains cancelled unless Customer Service is contacted.
